Yeah, it's a little worse for wear from years of outdoor abuse. But the restoration was done lovingly enough, and I still wanted to steal it. Maybe fly it home!

Confession. It's my favorite spacecraft from film, of all time.

Even better than the MF! :chase

Wow, the Nostromo is amazing looking... I'd never imagined the prop would be that massive :lol

I didn't know you were Buddhist, Ken?

I'm far from Buddhist. I just don't practice religion of any sorts. But I was raised Jewish. Other than a party my friend dragged me to, I haven't stepped foot in a temple in 25 years.

Yeah, raised Catholic, and although my son goes to a Catholic school I don't practice either, though I do feel I have a relationship with god, or whatever you want to call it. Higher power? Beer? punk42? Vajayjay? Luke Skywalker? Whatever....

I'm just too much of a puss to not believe and accept that my soul is going nowhere-ville once I kick the bucket.

I want to believe I'll be reunited with my mom, grandparents and anyone else who precedes me one day, but I just don't know.

:lecture Scares the crap out of me.

I find it really hard to buy into the idea of a higher power or afterlife... it's a nice thought and in some ways envy believers, but I just can't wrap my brain around faith :huh

But, I still acknowledge I don't know everything and always accept I could be wrong, so I place myself in the Agnostic camp... with a stronger leaning towards Atheist :lecture

Although I love to decorate for and celebrate Christmas :lol :huh :rock

This whole thing came up at work the other night actually.

I believe in a higher power, a force if you will but I don't call it a "God" in the technical sense. I believe in good and pure evil but think the whole idea of Heaven and Hell is silly. I think that when we die, if we live a good life, our soul is reincarnated into another life. There are things I feel, know and have seen that had to have been part of another life.

I get the idea of faith and fully support it. Everyone has faith in something to get them through the day. People need to believe in something.

This is a great conversation, guys! You'd think we were sitting around Celebration over some beer. :D

True... "faith" in general is a bit too broad, I guess I'm not able to wrap my head around someone offering their religious view as "truth"; which is often the case. I certainly have more "faith" in humanity than it seems many of the people I interact with :lol

Yeah, and this may be the only time religion has ever been discussed on a message board that didn't turn into a flamewar after the first post :lol

I will be honest, I am a puss too. I am scared to death of dying. I will admit it. There are so many reasons.

I cling to faith for some comfort in the dark times to find solace in the desperation of the moment.

To not go insane from the depression of life.

This is a great conversation, guys! You'd think we were sitting around Celebration over some beer. :D

Maybe, but I think we would be recapping the hotties we wish were visiting our table or rather our room ! :panic:

Her in the Cantina, with this group... we are way beyond such simpleton mentality.

Or what Waller said.
