re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

So mean. It's all about impermanence. And everything is...

The Nostromo reminded me of that yesterday. ;)

You are weird! 99% would be the opposite, to forego the fear of the unknown, me thinks.

The whole, be kind to everyone and treat others well is all good, but giving up all your worldly possessions etc I think is a bit much. Now, putting all your faith and happiness into those possessions is bad I'd say, but having them, no. It just seems like an odd concept... treat everyone you meet great and make them happy etc, but in the process give up everything and everyone that makes you yourself happy. :dunno
And I'm not picking on you directly so don't take it that way. One of my best friends leans towards the Buddhist teachings as well.

And yeah, I know my death thing is weird.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

What the **** is wrong with me?

Don't answer that. :lol

I just ordered the Crimson Baroness PF. I like her look, but I'm supposed to be done with SS. They got me with the damned 200 edition size.

That was a typo, they just corrected it to 2,000.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

:lol:lol:lol That just might send some mixed messages, me thinks. :lol

You'd be a great parent! Me, not so much.

Yeah. Punk would be a terrible parent!

... More mixed messages!!!! :panic::panic::panic:

:rotfl
I've done it before with my nephews, thrown a fake fit like they do when they are complaining, and they stop and get this look of 'is that what I look like?...' and they stop. haha.
On a side note, I just realized they probably think their uncle Steve is looney. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Should'a just popped for a black one if you wanted her in your collection. :dunno

Or put the money towards a Gandalf PF.

I had a black one and sold it. :monkey3

Which is now at 0.00, I see.

Hey, I explained that. I bought a Perillo from Dark Hall the other day, and it automatically exhausted my funds.

Why you!

That was a typo, they just corrected it to 2,000.

:rotfl :panic:

It's hard to develop that line of being close as friends and being a parent at the same time.... I guess the parent thing is the most important but the friendship part is so damn fun. :(

It is hard. And I take a lot... but there are times I reel him in hard so he remembers there is a love and friendship, but also a respect and I am preparing him for tomorrow.

Being your child's best friend is an amazing feeling that can last a lifetime.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Man you guys talk a lot. I get out of work and do some bopping around at different stores and there's another 20 pages!

This looks fantastic. I can't wait to see him fully finished. You do some badass custom work, Rich. Those cantina aliens you did earlier are inspiring.

Why does Rhino look like Mark I in the ASM2 trailer? :dunno

I don't know. Haven't even watched it yet. I know the Raimi films are cheesy, but I think I liked them more than Amazing Spider-Man.

Who would you say Marvel's number 2 is? Wolverine?

I'm thinking Captain America. Maybe Iron Man is number one for the general public these days.

FLOSI, those Chewie straps are cool. I bought the Thinkgeek lifesize one, which I keep meaning to use...

I love Thinkgeek. They've got these badass Doom plushies.

I was also looking at this cool jellyfish desk aquarium. Only $365! :lol

I want to believe I'll be reunited with my mom, grandparents and anyone else who precedes me one day, but I just don't know.

It's a nice thought to have. I'd love to see my grandma again and I can't bear the thought of losing my mom forever some day.

I don't know. I've seen and experienced some stuff I can't explain and I think there's more to reality than we're fully capable of understanding. Some sort of existence or reality after life isn't something I'm willing to completely dismiss.

I'll be happy if I can be some kind of guardian angel for Gabriel... I love that little bastard so much...

Hey, he is SCARY competitive. We were playing Mario Sports last night, and he wanted to play against me and we've only played on a team together so far. So he beats me in volleyball. Probably should have won by even more than he did but I get a little more of the goofy ways to cheat than he does.... Then we play Hockey, and I score the first four goals. he EXPLODES! I've never ever seen him do this before... ever. He was so mad at me. Crying, and not listening to reason, etc. There's a fire that burns in him to win. He loves all types of games because he wants to play and WIN. Now, I developed that kind of mentality later in my life, but when I was young I could care less.... And it's never been that overboard. Really caught me off guard, but I'm sure as hell not going to just let him win either. He needs to learn to loose and how to strive to improve when he enjoys something. Am I right?

Flosi, we need to play Street Fighter. :yess:

Unless masturbation is respect, then I do that all the time. :lol

When I'm bored, I'm capable of respecting myself five times a day.

What scares the crap out of me is dying instantly... and having no idea it's coming. Like a car crash and bam! dead. Or something like that. I would much rather fall off a tall building so there was a few minutes of knowing before I died or be tortured and killed slowly knowing it's coming. It's odd I know, but instant dead freaks me out... cause if there is something after this life I want to know the moment I switch over ya know... in case there is some kept conscienceness after you die...whether it be to a place like heaven, reincarnation, nothingness...

I almost died instantly multiple times today. Holiday shoppers are crazy drivers. I just wanted to try to find a Black Series Boba Fett and use my 20% off TRU coupon!

I'm with ya, fury. Red's a cool color. Not something I would buy. I'd much rather have a 1/6 Baroness, but I think she looks pretty neat.

At least you didn't buy the cowboy Tony Stark. If you do that when they put him up, we can't be friends anymore.

I only have SF IV right now, I think? The one that came out for PS3... whatever that is.

And thank you, Ben. If I had more time to devote to painting and customizing I think I could be pretty good at it, though my color matching skills are not the best. I have a head all ready to start working on but I think I'm going to adjust the nose back a little first.

If anyone knows of a picture of Chewie's profile I would be super thankful!

5 times... sheesh. When I first started dating my wife we did it seven times one night... Seven. She had such a great curvy body... Pretty sure I was looking a hell of a lot better too. :lol I must have been shooting out dust after the 5th time.

Wolverine was the number one guy for quite sometime.... You could multiply Iron Man and Cap's monthly issues sold back in the 90's and it wouldn't be half the amount of the X-Men titles.

Man I remember one night with one girl... I was so into ... I pulled the full dozen out ! DAMN ! NOW THAT was a night !

Sounds like bull but I swear by it.

Granted I was kinda backed up.... :monkey3

I gave my copy of the original Street Fighter IV to my friend. I was thinking of getting Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. It's the newest one. I also have the HD Remix of Street Fighter 2 downloaded to my PS3. If you ever get one of those, let me know. I'd love to fight you and Gabe. :rotfl

If I had a woman, I think I could go 10 times at this point. I've got a lot of pent up frustration to release.

I think you're right about the old comics, but everything's about the movies these days. To the general public, I think Iron Man very well may be the second most popular superhero right after Batman these days.

I'm out of the loop with the comics these days, though. I used to read Cap, Daredevil, Punisher, Spider-Man, and the X-Men(with Shadowcat being my favorite team member). At first, I really liked the Ultimate universe reboots as well, but they started to get pretty bad too. I stopped reading around the time Civil War came out and I haven't looked back.

Wait.... twelve? As in two more than 10?:horror

Yeah, things have changed, that's for sure. I find the whole Iron Man thing to be kinda funny. He's not that interesting a character, nor are his supporting characters. Hell, the second and third films really stink too if you're just looking at the movies.... really, it all comes down to RDJ, I guess?

I still wouldn't buy that stupid Cowboy Tony for the life of me.
