Man... I might need to cancel the '66 Batman stuff. Too much SW coming my way.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

My mom died from Alzheimer's 4 months before my daughter was born. She never knew she was going to be a grandmother. It still breaks my heart when I think about it. One day, I want to be able to tell her about all the great things she missed. :(

Dammit, Waller, you're making me cry for realz! :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2 My grandmother had Alzheimer's, but at least she didn't get it until she was like 80. It was so sad to visit her the last few years. I had to stop eventually.

I visited her for the last time on the day I moved to Los Angeles. My car was all loaded up with my personal belongings. And as I was leaving the old home, I exited the elevator on the wrong floor of the parking structure. I thought my car was stolen, with all of my worldly belongings. I was really freaking out!!! Sorry for the subject change, but I suddenly remembered that. Hadn't thought about it in years...

:rotfl Ken has everything!

Sadly, this! :lecture I'm gonna have to get that Chewie Xmas stocking, which I'll never use... Well, maybe as a super small condom. :monkey1
Thankfully, Christmas crap always goes on clearance. I get everything then... Same with Halloween, but I've missed out on the Yoda Candy Holder two years in a row. Next year, he will be mine!!!

My Nana that passed in July had Alzhimers... it was awful. My Nano on my father's side had Parkinson's. That was no picnic either. :(

I was there during the last hours of my grandma's life. She was in a lot of pain and wasn't coherent. When I held her hand, tears started flowing from her eyes. As you can imagine, I couldn't keep my composure at that point and everything started to flash before my eyes. Moments and memories I shared with that had been long forgotten suddenly came rushing back and hit me like a ton of bricks.

I really miss her and wish she could have gone in a more peaceful way.

Hey Flosi, I saw that Toys R Us is doing a Friday and Saturday doorbuster sale on TMNT basic figures. Buy one, get one for 50% off. Maybe you can pick some up for your boy on the cheap for Christmas.

Yeah, I was rearranging a display case last weekend for the new Batman PF and Superman PF coming in the next month or so, and kinda regretted ordering the HT '66 Batman and Robin... as I realized I will have no room to display them and the 66' Batmobile... after getting the '89 Batmobile, I knew I wanted to get the '66... and if I have the '66 Batmobile, I have to have Batman and Robin to go with it.... I just realized that I will have no room for it at all and kinda regret starting down that road.... but at least it will probably be 2 years before the Batmobile gets released. :lol
