re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It's a beautiful day outside in Florida. The sky is clear and the temperature is going to be high 60's. Thank the maker I'm going to spend the next 10 hours inside at a job I hate.

I'm depressed now.

Alright, let's have a friendly discussion. I know many of you, like myself, are prequel haters, but furystorm's post got me thinking. Which prequel do you like the best of the three or which one do you hate the least?

ROTS is my favorite I'd say. Least favorite is TPM... I don't know that I'll watch that one ever again other than the Pod Race and Lightsaber duel.

OK Guys…
So… Believe it or not, after seeing Flosi's amazing drawings I got inspired to go back to drawing myself…
This past Christmas, my wife got me a Intuos tablet, and I've been slowly learning how to use it and do things here and there,
but today I decided to do something more detailed…
So, going off of memory I did this little sketch… it's a little rough, and just to loosen my hand a little bit…

But I wasn't totally pleased with it… it's Ok as a quick doodle, but I wanted to do something more ESB Yoda-esque!
So, I used the classic Yoda pic and came up with this!!
Now, that looks so much better!!! :rock!!!
Any feedback is appreciated! Be gentle, I just started drawing on a tablet and it's harder than what I thought it would be!

Awesome job Kuzeh! Is the tablet you use the kind you draw directly on the touchscreen or onto a pad that transfers to the screen?

As far as the prequels go I don't quite get the hate myself. I like them and I also like the OT. For me all six films have similar issues that if you want to pick apart happen in both trilogies. I do think things that happen in the OT are let go by easier because its the OT. ROTS is my favorite of the PT with AOTC being my least favorite.

Tell me how Vader is I'm Debating on getting him.

Okay, a quick pro-con. It's the best SS figure I've ever owned. Super high quality in every way. He's still about 1/2" too tall, not a huge deal though. The arms of the body are a bit thin, though this can be easily fixed. Some like the dome sitting a little lower though I'm still pretty happy with him as is. QC issues are as follows: Frayed cape on the bottom edge, mine and my brothers were both fine though. Tusks on the main sculpt and Anakin head are arriving broken. One on my Anakin sculpt was bent but not broken and one of my brothers DV tusks was broke completely.

I didn't mention this earlier, but this is the reason for my sudden IG-88 interest. A friend of mine emailed me the following today:
Now that I have several robot dolls (probe droid forthcoming), I wanted to build on that "focus" collection.
So...I bought a Sideshow IG-88 sixth scale doll. It got raving reviews and has lots of features, including a lighted head and base. The retail price was originally around $180, but is sold out on Sideshow's website. I bought one on ebay for $160, but after shipping from China, it's around $190. The seller has excellent feedback. So I took a leap, and I didn't get a great bargain, but I checked everywhere online for the best price.

So I responded that I have one. He then replied that he didn't think I did. I was positive that I did, but I checked my order history, and discovered I canceled it 6 months after I had ordered it. This was news to me! I don't remember canceling it, and really thought I had it. Because I still don't have my 12" display case fully functional, I never noticed. So it then became my life's mission to acquire one! The kicker is I ended up buying one for $16 cheaper than my friend, who claimed he had searched everywhere, plus I'll receive it WAY before my friend, who is getting his from China! I don't think I'll mention it to him. I don't want to brag. He's been going through a rough period lately...

A freaking great figure! You're going to love it.

You don't have to be a chick to enjoy a vibrator. Trust me. :lecture

Cute cat! My wife brought home a dog last night that she wants for a test run but it's a lot of work with a dog and it needs way more attention then we have time to give. I just said, "Let's get another cat." She wasn't amused.

I love dogs but cats are WAY easier. That's our new cat, Chewie. He's ****ing magnificent.

I really wish I didn't have to go to work today.

I really wish I didn't have to go to work. Ever.

I wish I had a job I loved.

AOTC is my least liked of the prequels.

ROTS being my favorite of them and prolly of the whole series.

Favorite Scenes:

1. Yoda telling Luke of the Force
2. Sidious revealing himself to Anakin.
3. Vader pulling Han's blaster from him. (Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. lulz)
4. Luke's beatdown of Vader.
5. Dooku vs. Yoda
