How amazing is the lighting for that sequence? The colors are so vibrant. The contrasting look of the combatants too.... I'm such an Empire mark.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That was a figure that was sorely missing from the original line-up.

I wonder if Ken loves Yaddle as much as he loves Yoda… :horror

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

So found out my sewer is clogged up again! :gah: Luckily though we saw the signs of it ahead of time and caught it before anything major happened like the backup last time. Needless to say I just want spring to get here so I can finish digging up and replacing the whole thing. Was out last night trying to unclog it in the freezing cold. I think the weather caused some of it to freeze up leading to the clog since I never covered it back up from last time. Will have to finish snaking it out tonight and then put it all back together. Man I hate the cold sometimes. :thud:

Stop filling up the ****ter with your big dumps! :lol

It is awesome ! I love it. Mark II

I definitely prefer the regular playset since this is only a cardboard backdrop, but it is cool to have.

Just asking. :)

Love the Tarkin.

Agreed. Best of the lot. If only he made the figure look more vintage

Started up The Republic Divided, L8WRTR's second entry in the PT series of fan edits...

When this is over, I'm gonna catch a bus up to my Zen Center, and do some chanting. Dad's not doing so well. Chanting always helps, right? ;)

Gabe and I were watching it last night. It takes what was started in SW and turns it up to 11.... Imperial Walkers, Yoda, Bounty Hunters, Asteroids, Space Slugs, and Luke's pop is Vader??? Man, we were lucky to grow up loving such a classic film.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Ah I see, I think I would need one that's direct on the screen... not sure I could get used to not looking where my drawing hand is when I draw.

LOL at the kitten comparison. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It's a beautiful day outside in Florida. The sky is clear and the temperature is going to be high 60's.
Lucky bastard!!!

:lol Even though that wasn't Yoda...

Okay, a quick pro-con. It's the best SS figure I've ever owned. Super high quality in every way. He's still about 1/2" too tall, not a huge deal though. The arms of the body are a bit thin, though this can be easily fixed. Some like the dome sitting a little lower though I'm still pretty happy with him as is. QC issues are as follows: Frayed cape on the bottom edge, mine and my brothers were both fine though. Tusks on the main sculpt and Anakin head are arriving broken. One on my Anakin sculpt was bent but not broken and one of my brothers DV tusks was broke completely.

I love dogs but cats are WAY easier to screw.
Regarding the last part... :horror
Regarding the first part... I honestly have no friggin idea what you guys are talking about when you mention tusks. What the hell is a tusk on a figure? I seriously don't know!

At least it's Friday...

On a positive note, I just found a website called cherryfuzz.com... all redheads, all nude. :lol
I'll have to check that out at home. Although it is tempting to take a peek at work...

I'm looking forward to getting my Kenner figures displayed. I still need to buy some stands and risers.
If I had a complete vintage collection, I'd get a "riser" while looking at them! :lecture

Flosi you posting that picture made me think. In all the years I've gone to Comic-Con only twice have I met someone and thought I hope I don't smell like this place. The year I got to meet Julie Benz and last year meeting Evangeline Lilly.
How did you get to meet her? She was signing autographs under the sails, or at a booth, or you just ran into her, or you broke into her hotel room?

I've got a nice mint, unused Sears Cantina backdrop that I want to display like the box art. I need to get an extra Greedo, Hammerhead and Walrusman to go with my Blue Snaggletooth.
I may have extras... I'm going through my vintage this weekend, in preparation for selling extras at the upcoming collector show...

Definitely not! Yaddle was never a Muppet!

I hope your Dad is OK. I will pray for furydad!

Agreed. I have to say We lived through the best part of film making. Even the fact that we were born during a period where we can appreciate films from the 20's forward is amazing.

I am saddened to think of what the modern age will look to as classic film making. They are unable to appreciate what we lived and experienced.

Even today. TV is so jaded. Sex is rampant with HS teens on every show. Alcohol and drugs too. In our day, it was off the hook to make out with a girl on TV.

I think it's sad.

If you have nice, complete aliens with weapons, let me know. :)
