Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I got called yesterday after two interviews with an organization in Bayonne and they offered me the position. $8 thousand more than the place I got fired from, 3 weeks vacation off the bat, and all the school holidays off that my (teacher) wife gets.

So I'll still be chasing the dream of making art for a living/ but in the meantime this is super-good news for me and the fam (and my future SW collecting). Thank you all for your well-wishing and support during the past couple of weeks!

I Don't start until the 10th so I am going to try to bang out as much artwork this week as possible.

Had nice day, took the girls to see Frozen (their second time, my first) and then to TRU. And they had the Lego Ewok Village. HOLY CRAP! I soooo want it. $300 bucks though, yuck.

Yeah, it's a really bad situation at her job. She's deals with nothing but bull**** from people who blow back at you when they're pointed out for not doing their job. She goes in everyday fearing for her life, literally. She's at her breaking point and it's affecting our home life.

Yeah, it's a really bad situation at her job. She's deals with nothing but bull**** from people who blow back at you when they're pointed out for not doing their job. She goes in everyday fearing for her life, literally. She's at her breaking point and it's affecting our home life.

I feel for her. I go through the same every day. Eating crap to make it through and support the home. No way to live but in stuck.

That's exactly how I felt. You spend most of your waking hours at/traveling to & from work. If you're miserable there it takes a toll on everything else. I felt sick every morning before I would leave. I don't know what this new job has in store for me but I feel like I can get through anything after eating **** for a year.

Wow, barely any posts today. I'm amazed, but also glad. I need to keep working on preparing for the toy show tomorrow. I decided I'm not bringing any vintage with me, other than a Wampa. I have soooo many parts to try to match up to vehicles and playsets, plus more weapons to match to figures (I figured out why I had so many weapons left over--I found another bag of 20-25 figures)... As much as I'd love to recoup some of that money, I shouldn't rush it... I have more than enough stuff to sell tomorrow...

Still haven't seen frozen. Still want Ewok Village. .

I was pleasantly surprised by Frozen and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Olaf the Snowman was awesome.

The only thing that bugs me is Disney's obsession with giving all female characters the "Anime" look (big eyes, small nose and small mouth). It bugged me horribly for the first half of the movie.

I finally watched King of the Nerds episode 2. It was amusing. I shed no tear for the person who was eliminated, but as for the person he faced... wow, there's gonna be some serious tension coming up next week! What a freak!
