re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I met him in a swamp down in dagobah
Where it bubbles all the time like a giant carbonated soda
S O D A, soda

I saw the little runt sitting there on a log
I asked him his name and in a raspy voice he said, "Yoda"

Y O D A, Yoda

Yo-yo-yo-yo Yoda

:rock
CLASSIC!!! Weird Al rocks! I wish he did more than just the two SW songs.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I took it as a popularity contest. I guess I just figured Vader was a slam dunk? Still, Yoda is, IMO, one of the top three most iconic SW characters, along with Vader and R2, so it's not shocking (hope I didn't make it sound that way). I'm just a little amazed that he beat out Vader.
I agree that it was a popularity contest, but keep in mind that Yoda was the ONLY Jedi I'm aware of whose death did not involve a fight of some sort. He may have run away from Palpatine but it was technically a tie, so he was never truly defeated in battle. Luke defeated Vader (even though he chose not to kill him), so Vader can be beat.

Note: I don't read EU, so I suppose there could be other Jedi to have died of natural causes. Just not in the films or CW.

Did Cartoon Network ever go back to the old school animated style Clone Wars? Or is it still the CGI thing?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Booo.

The animated mini series was awesome. I think I have both seasons on DVD some where around here... never got into the CGI one.

I never voted once, but I am happy that my favorite character won!!! YAY YODA!!! :clap :clap :clap

Note: I don't truly think that Yoda would win those battles, but any character that is both a Muppet and a Star Wars character will ALWAYS win with me! That's why he's my main focus character.

You know, I never really thought about him as a Muppet but you're completely right. I love the Muppets.

They had a few good stories in the CGI series. The artwork was beautiful at times. They really improved from season to season.

Hopefully they hit Netflix soon. I'd like to watch them in order.

If they ever try to CGI Yoda from ESB or ROTJ, I will completely boycott that release. But he looked terrible in TPM, so I have no problem with them CGI'ing that one.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Do have anything to do with the OT? Like characters, etc?

Or is is just a PT spin off?

PT only. :(

And it was called Clone Wars, but many episodes features droids and bounty hunters. :(:(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

:/

Too bad, it would be cool to see rebles and clones at each other, with a young vader.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Young Vader is in this. His name is Anakin Skywalker. Oh! Spoiler alert! :lol

Plus Chewbacca was in it too! :D

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

:lol I mean, like a young in-suit vader!

Chewy was in it? That's cool! :rock

I'll probably end up checking them out sooner or later.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

The whole series takes place between Episodes 2 and 3, so no in-suit Vader. While still not cool, Anakin was cooler than the Episode 2 version.

Better actor. Hayden kinda sucked. But then again, so did Jake Lloyd. Anakin was mis-cast both times... Whiny little *****es...

I liked Hayden in Ep 3 but thought he was annoying in Ep 2. Though to be fair I think Luke is pretty close to the same in Ep 1 as Anakin was in Ep 2.
