What JP prints did they give you, Chien?

It's this set I found at WonderCon. Immediately thought of Chien, and got Waller in on the action since I'm piss poor. Sorry for the poor quality photo, the prints are quite beautiful.

I forgot! Haha.

:thwak Happy Birthday!

I met up with fury and we had an excellent lunch at Le Thai In Vegas! And of course I want to thank you(fury) and Waller for the amazing Jurassic Park gifts! I love 'em! Fury has to ship the prints to me though since I wasn't anticipating any extra baggage this trip. Thank you again my buddies! :rock

Wish I could've been there. Did you cry? :nana:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Aw, man! You win! :p
Well, I got 2-day Prime shipping at least, so I'll get it quicker. So :pfft:
I don't even see it on Redford Films website. Perhaps it sold out. I know they had a 15% off coupon, so I assume you used that... At least, I hope you did!

I did use the coupon to bring it down to that price. It was the best deal I'd seen for 3PO so far.

You win the race, benobi. Mine won't be here until Monday.

That's really cool. I remember all those concept images. I can't remember where I saw them as a kid, maybe the trading cards, but I definitely remember those concepts from somewhere.

The only negative aspect is you are committing for one year, although you can cancel within 30 days to abort the mission. But I figure, as long as I see 3 movies a month, it's a wash. Any more than that is gravy!

My first month, I saw 27 movies in 31 days, just to see how many I could do! I have backed off since then. I see 3 a week, which is plenty. Every now and then I treat a friend and buy his ticket (this requires advanced planning, since you cannot purchase more than one ticket on the same day). Oh, and because I almost always go to AMC, I get the rewards from all of the ticket purchases as well!

IF I went to 30 movies a month, at $10 each, that would cost normally $300. I would earn $30 in AMC rewards from those purchases. I pay $30 for the Moviepass, so it's as if I'm spending $30 for $30 in concessions, plus 30 free movies! Granted, it is unrealistic that I would buy 30 tickets each month. Just giving an example of how awesome the deal COULD be...

Wow! 27 movies! :panic:

That's awesome though! I don't know if I could control myself as to how many movies I would see! :lol

I don't think I've seen 27 movies in the last 10 years. I miss going, terribly. :(

Yeah, that makes me seeing 40 movies last year seem kind of like slacking. :lol

The first movie I saw this year was JP 3D. I hadn't been to the movies since Django before that.

I'm a movie buff. I see practically everything. But I don't have cable or Netflix or anything. Just a ton of BD's and DVD's at home, and I download any cable TV shows I need to see, like Game of Thrones and Homeland. So I tend to go to movies a lot. Usually I can find people to drag along, but occasionally I go alone. I don't mind... I became used to that when I lived in LA. Lots of people go alone there...

LOL! 40 in a year is probably a lot for most. But yeah, I passed that already this year, sometime in early March... :monkey3
With the price of movies these days, who can afford to go frequently? If it wasn't for my Moviepass, I sure as hell wouldn't go that much!

Yeah, I thought that was a lot myself but its not if you get one of those passes. :lol so it's a damn good deal.

I go alone. Is that weird? ;)

I don't wear a trench coat so I avoid that weird factor but I go alone a fair amount.

Before I met my wife I used to go at least once a week on top of watching 3-4 movies a day. Ahh those were the days... :D

Nope. Heck my wife and I will even go to separate movies at the same theatre.
