I blame HT for being lame and not producing SW figures fast enough, SS for giving us NOTHING OT to order in 9 months and Tamshii for not having R2 ready to go!

There isn't even any Joe stuff.

But for the first time since the original Jack Sparrow, I have a HT figure ordered.

I'm a movie buff. I see practically everything. But I don't have cable or Netflix or anything. Just a ton of BD's and DVD's at home, and I download any cable TV shows I need to see, like Game of Thrones and Homeland. So I tend to go to movies a lot. Usually I can find people to drag along, but occasionally I go alone. I don't mind... I became used to that when I lived in LA. Lots of people go alone there...

I go alone. Is that weird?

I wish I had nothing on preorder, although my official list is pretty small. Bats PF and Poison Ivy PF. Although somehow I got on to a bunch of custom lists though, ugh.

Yeah I have these two on order nothing else really at all. I keep cancelling stuff.

Just Mythos Maul and Mythos Boba Fett for me, but I shouldn't even have them coming. If SS keeps dropping the ball on QC in general, and downright omission of key elements of a piece (ala Ben's unlit hilt), I'll be abandoning them permanently.

I may use my points and get the Maul.. it would be free if I did ... so ...

The only negative aspect is you are committing for one year, although you can cancel within 30 days to abort the mission. But I figure, as long as I see 3 movies a month, it's a wash. Any more than that is gravy!

My first month, I saw 27 movies in 31 days, just to see how many I could do! I have backed off since then. I see 3 a week, which is plenty. Every now and then I treat a friend and buy his ticket (this requires advanced planning, since you cannot purchase more than one ticket on the same day). Oh, and because I almost always go to AMC, I get the rewards from all of the ticket purchases as well!

IF I went to 30 movies a month, at $10 each, that would cost normally $300. I would earn $30 in AMC rewards from those purchases. I pay $30 for the Moviepass, so it's as if I'm spending $30 for $30 in concessions, plus 30 free movies! Granted, it is unrealistic that I would buy 30 tickets each month. Just giving an example of how awesome the deal COULD be...

Damn that is something to think about.

I don't think I've seen 27 movies in the last 10 years. I miss going, terribly.

I feel ya... since we had Lily my movie going has hit the breaks. I'd guess around 6 in the last year... just a lot harder and more expensive to go see a movie when you factor in the planning and paying for a sitter.

I hope you're right. I'll go cancel my Gentle Giant R2 statue, that is never going to come out, and use my $50 credit with BBTS for these.
