re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Should we change the name of Flosi's Cantina to...

The fury and Waller show? :chase

That what our text conversation is called. :lol

Do you think there would be a chance that SS would carry these Alien figures?

Doubtful, but you never know. You could always post something in the Ask Sideshow forum.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I can't find a line on these anywhere and it's getting on my nerves. I need to know how and when we can order these. Has BBTS ever carried anything from Super 7 before?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Of course I picked up the pamphlets. I got about six, maybe. I know I have to send one to my brother Waller.

My only question is: Where do I order these figures from?

I decided I could live without the glasses set, but the figures would be nice to have. I checked with BBTS, but don't see them there.
I didn't grab nearly enough of those pamphlets. I gave all of my extras away already. I did ask them about distribution, and they said they are working on getting distributors for them, but could not provide any details as of yet. IIRC, the Shogun Stormtrooper had a limited number of online distributors. I seem to recall that BBTS was one of them (not positive), but Sideshow DEFINITELY carried it:

Yeah, that's a picture of the bathroom stall floor. Sorry, but I did go back right after this and get fresh pamphlets. I know nobody is going to want one now!

Let the Seinfeld jokes commence. :lol
So THAT'S why you were taking so long in the bathroom?!?!?! I was worried that you were doing something ELSE. :horror

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

You asked for pics of the brochure, and I happened to be on the crapper...

:dunno :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Damn that is something to think about.

$30 a month unlimited movies one pass at a time ? or per day?
In a nutshell:
You can buy ONE ticket per day.
You can CHECK-IN on their app ONCE for any given movie (meaning you can't "officially" see the same movie twice, but you can BUY a ticket for ANY movie) Thus, you could "check-in" for a movie you don't want to see, and buy a ticket for something else.
Therefore, if you wanted to treat a friend to a movie, you would have to buy one ticket in advance, then buy the 2nd ticket on the day you go, but one of them would be "checked-in" on their app for a different movie.

The way it works is, they give you a credit card. You check-in on their app, AT the theater, on any given day. They add the funds to your card. You must purchase the ticket within 30 minutes. But there is nothing preventing you from buying a ticket for a future date. I go to a theater which is on my way home from work, so I can easily stop in to buy tickets in advance for the weekend, in case I want to bring friends.

The app is available for both Android and iPhone. If you have a Blackberry or Windows Phone, you should still be OK since you can use their website to check-in. But if you don't have internet on your phone, you are SOL.

Save me one Stormy !

Are these even up for preorder yet? I imagine places like BBTS will get them.

Not yet :panic:

I would love to have those glasses for beer, but the price of those was even worse. I can stomach the figure prices because I'm a sucker for the vintage packaging.

I don't know that they will be that much. If I had to max it I would say $39.99

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Might be gift card eligible down the line, like a year or two later. Not that Waller or I can wait that long for these. I feel I must have these.

On another note, anybody friends with me will know I'm pretty peeved with these ****ing workers in my house this week. Right now, short of going out there and hauling off on them for all the reckless noise and mess they are making, I feel I must buy myself something...

Suggestions?

I was thinking the new slimmed down Star Wars Blueprints book... :D

Good call. Buy two copies and send one to me. :yess:

So close to the SW poster. I can smell it. :panic:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

$20 a pop for the ReAction figures is a bit steep... but I'm sure they are not making a boatload and they're very sweet. Hopefully there will at least be a price break if you buy all 5 :lecture

Good thing I didn't ask for the oversized limited edition version. :lol

May the verse be with you! Inspired by one of the greatest creative minds in the English language—and William Shakespeare—here is an officially licensed retelling of George Lucas’s epic Star Wars in the style of the immortal Bard of Avon. The saga of a wise (Jedi) knight and an evil (Sith) lord, of a beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age, Star Wars abounds with all the valor and villainy of Shakespeare’s greatest plays. Reimagined in glorious iambic pentameter, William Shakespeare’s Star Wars will astound and edify learners and masters alike. Zounds! This is the book you’re looking for.
