re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

A good rule of thumb is to try and keep a focus on collecting... it's easy to get to broad and end up buying a lot of stuff you really don't need.
Having a focus didn't help me at all. It made things worse. Because of my Yoda focus, I try to buy EVERY Yoda item I come across. But then I still buy other stuff as well! :gah:

I'm starting to feel that lately. Ever since HT announced all these SW releases, I've been questioning my HT T-800 and Robocop figures. Maybe I should just go back to SW only. :lol
I keep telling myself that, but now I've jumped into Avengers related HT figures. These crazy sales are sucking me in!!! :panic::panic::panic:

I just eventually need to quit completely. I would love to retire somewhere like Colorado, but that's going to cost more money. Hell, I just want to be able to retire. :slap
I have been thinking of that, too. No way can I relocate with all the crap I own. It must be purged within 23 years. I wonder if any of it will be worth a damn in 20 years...

This 'r' word you keep referring to..."retire" was it? What is that? Sounds fun.
Don't bother learning it. You can't afford to retire cuz you're "Darth_URPoor".

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I won't be retiring to Colorado. When I'm all spent and can't work anymore, they'll just throw me in the toy graveyard.

That's what I'm afraid of.

Collect what you love and only what you love. Not what is worth a dollar.

I definitely don't collect for the money, but I would at least like to get back what I pay for stuff. I always wonder if the market for this type of stuff will collapse one day.

You wouldn't have to worry the day it does because so will everything else besides food and ammo lol.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It must be eBay day. I just got an email saying it was my 17th anniversary with them. They could've at least given me a coupon instead of just saying thanks.

I entered the Stegosaurus contest. If I win, it's yours, Ben. :wave

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

You could sell Invisible Man and still say you got him in your collection :monkey3

You sir, are a genius :lecture

I know right... I got some dumb anniversary email from them as well :lol

Sideshow gave me a $100 gift card code when I hit 10 years; that's how you do it :lecture

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Wow my eBay sales are only $16,604. But I have sold a lot of stuff off eBay.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I would like to see a total of how much I've paid in Ebay fees.

Mostly for self-loathing purposes.

Yeah, right! :lol You wish!

Well, I just sold my Marty McFly. But not on Ebay. I'm trying out some Facebook Group called "Sideshow Collectibles." It's the other group that pops up when you want to find the real Sideshow Facebook page. Only Paypal fees this way, no Ebay fees. Hopefully the transaction goes smoothly... Shipping it off tomorrow! The dude paid like instantly! And his email address used by Paypal matched his Facebook name, so that's a good sign.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Spacetrooper is now eligible for $20 AVENGE2015 coupon. I don't think that's been mentioned before... There is a $22 NRD though. My initial order that I just canceled had no NRD. The limit was $225 then. Apparently it's lower now...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I sold three cards on Ebay and one person paid. :lol

Such a joke. The only way to get paid is to list with Immediate Payment required. And even then I get emails from people asking if they can buy it now and pay later. WTF has happened to people that they don't understand - you can't buy something unless you have enough money for it???

I was watching the Artoo card. Any chance that's a nonpayer?
