re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I hate when people say that, then do. Just stop there you dumb ****.

He shouldn't have to remember your name, he should just see your sub-par art and move along. That's what I do :dunno

$800,000 on Star Wars sketch cards alone? Ooookay :lol

$800,000 in sketch cards. He's big pimpin'.

Yeah, I don't know if it's worse that he's telling the truth and thinks that's impressive or lying and thinks that's impressive.

I just passed all of his pseudonyms along to Ebay reps for their consideration. I don't know what the point of having all those names is if you're not bidding up your own auctions.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Well I for one don't always tell people how much I spend on Star Wars sketch cards per year, but when I do, I always lie to impress them :lecture

I don't think there are actually enough sketch cards on ebay in one year to spend $800,000 on. He just sounds like a sad little Gollum boy, living in his mom's basement that he calls the Misty Mountains.

Why the **** would someone need that many accounts? I love that you forwarded that information on to eBay. :lol

Awesome! :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

[...]So if anyone remembers my dead-beat bidder story on Ebay, I got another message from him that really escalates things to a level of weirdo I've never dealt with -

[...]

Whack job. But I wonder if he didn't just compile a bunch of other people's user names in a weirdo attempt at hurting your future sales...??

$800,000 on sketch cards? Why not buy actual art prints that you can hang up? No offense to the art card artists here, but do you cover a wall with little tiny sketches? I could see spending thousands on McQuarrie originals or things like that but...

We can't hope to understand his level of wealth and intelligence. I'm just so glad to have had a brush with that kind of greatness.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I wanted to see what he's bought in the past, but you can't anymore. You used to be able to see links to things they bought in their feedback. Stupid eBay.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

In fairness, not all attendees are bad. I used to go all the time when I could get a pass. Not a good example I know. But Sam, Zoom, and the whole LOTR clan go, and they are 95% cool.

;)

5% being The Josh, or course. :lecture

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That's a bingo! :lol

Though some people in these parts like the Hobbit a bit too much. :lol

I checked the first few of this IDs and one of them sells a ****load of cards so I guess he buys and resells cards...which sounds awful. :lol

Of course! But I'm with the majority here....no desire to wade through the masses of snuffleupaguses even though there are legit cool people and events there.

I might like the Hobbit too much, but not as much as I used too. I used to do a once of year viewing of the extended editions in a day, but haven't for a quite a few years. I need to do that and make Taco sit through 12 hours of little Hobbits.

Wading through a mass of snuffleupagi sounds fun :panic:
