I think I've mentioned this to you guys before, but one of my roles at the University is providing trainings to faculty and staff on how to be an ally to the LGTB community... when I started the presentations there were only 5 states that recognized same-sex marriages and it seemed unlikely that any significant changes would happen any time soon.

So for me it's amazing to see how in 7 years the landscape of marriage for same-sex couples can be totally changed. There is still a lot to do in this country and world before all people are recognized and treated as equals, and I don't believe I will see that in my lifetime, but I'm happy that today something positive happened.

Maybe... but I really hope I can make any decisions on buying or not after I've seen the movie. At the very least maybe picking up a few key characters since I kept about 10 PT figures. But if they're awful I might just abandon the PT figures as well and go only OT.

I want it all. I want Luke, I want the Ducktrooper, I want Brienne of Tarth. Sadly, it's very likely I won't be able to buy anything from Episode 7, though.

The plan for me is yes and still deciding which route to go. Probably 1/6th since it seems statues are now taking twice aslong to make and ship. I wont get any Hasbro though.

It's official - I just stepped into the Xbox One world. Gets delivered on Tuesday w/ Arkham Knight. Other than the inevitable preorder for SW Battlefront, any game suggestions from the cantina locals?

Interested only in the new Stormtrooper atm.

Gonna suck though as Hot Toys will prioritise those and OT as soon as it releases.

New ones will be cool but don't have history and love of the OT and with them likely replacing OT for their SW output and with their remaining attention on MCU repeats its gonna be slim pickins'
