I'm all but done posting here. I've just had my fill of *******s and so I'd rather just ignore this place. No I'm not talking about you King. I'm posting over at the Weta boards talking about their amazing stuff and about Middle-earth in general. Among regular topics as well. Don't have the drama and people tend to respect one another a bit more there. I may pop in once in a while to say hi. Since most of you are friends I wanted to let y'all know nothing bad has happened.

You don't need to go AFA to know it's real. Just do trusted sellers and don't do ebay so much.

Not necessarily that it's real, it's more just about presentation. The thought of an acrylic cased figure that I can put on a shelf over something loose, but some of the prices are insane.

Since most of you are friends I wanted to let y'all know nothing bad has happened.

Also true. I think it was more AFAs were kind of one stop shop, but I guess you're right. eBay is a hard place to navigate for vintage SW, the prices all over the place and it's hard to gauge a deal versus being taken to the cleaners.
