Saw Mad Max: Fury Road today. Great movie.

Titus, thanks for the heads-up on the Hastings vinyl sale. I got Heaven and Hell's Devil You Know and three Smashing Pumpkins albums (Gish, Siamese Dream and Pisces Iscariot). I saved $46.34. :rock

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Upgraded my nose bleed section 214 seats for tonight's Rush concert, to a pair of "free" section 16 (that's stage left in case you were wondering) at twice the face value. I'm pretty stoked right about now...

I guess you could say my patients appreciate me. :D

Few more hours… :panic: :panic: :panic:

Exit Stage Left, eh? :lol

Remember, there's no opening act, so don't be late. :lecture

We won't. Meeting for an early dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant. :D

After seeing Fleetwood Mac without an opener, I was expecting the same for Rush.

I know nothing about where things are on the strip, but hopefully that fire at the Cosmopolitan doesn't mess with traffic either.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

You know more about what's going on here than I do. I heard someone talking about that while I was at 7-11 getting a Slurpee.

Did Karen go and start a fire at Cosmo? :dunno

Nope. The were playing KISS miniature golf when that broke out.

Likely story, and a nice cover up with the post on FB too. I know it was her partying it up...

9 hour drive home today, unpacking, laundry, general clean up and then I find a box that a friend put in our garage when we were gone. Inside the box, a beautiful piece of art -

You're welcome and I hate you... ;)

That's friggin awesome! I still really need to see Rush. For Father's Day my wife gave me two tickets to see Primus so a buddy and I went on Friday night. It was amazing. And a funny thought, Les Claypool's idol is Geddy Lee.

I forget which tour, but Primus opened up for Rush back in the late 80s or early 90s.

I hate you too, Waller.

For getting vinyl at a sale. :rotfl:rotfl

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I could've bought a lot more. There were at least 10-15 other albums I needed.
