Getting settled in to my hotel for the next week. Arrived in CO earlier today after 10 hours of driving and we're all set to move in to our new place on the 7th. A little nerve-racking with everything going on, but change can be good.

As Bilbo says, “It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”

Of course you don't have to listen to me but I feel an obligation to say something - I saw a therapist for a few weeks when I had been unemployed for 2 years and was really depressed and just a few sessions gave me a lot of tools that I use to this day. We're not supposed to be unhappy all the time. :) :duff

I also recommend beer and whores, lest I come across too helpful and nice.

I don't really think I need it.

The truth is that for whatever reason, it seems like I've just gone through a lot of really horrible stuff in my life and most of those things are basically the worst possible events I could ever imagine experiencing that have come into reality. I think almost anybody that has had to deal with the tragedy I've face would probably have a more pessimistic viewpoint than others and feel down at times. Now, when someone I care about betrays me or treats me badly, it hits me a bit harder and it's more difficult to let it roll off my shoulders than before. I think that's just a part of who I am now. I don't think congnitive behavioral therapy or interpersonal therapy is going to help any of that.

I'm not trying to be a bummer or anything, but that's just how I see it.

With nothing to lose and everything to gain, I can't imagine why someone wouldn't go for it.

Whores are the nicest! :dunno

I like whores! Especially the ones where you can just **** them and kill them to get your money back.....wait was that in real life or Grand Theft Auto??

Either way, I like whores! :)

Btw, Devil, gonna be late w/ the rent.

That's cool. As long as you don't sulk in silence or blow up when you're drunk because you can't be a belligerent ******* whenever you feel like it, in a futile attempt to pretend you're not 40, single and incapable of getting your act together.

At least you wouldn't have to drag him far.

Ease of disposal is a privilege I think I've earned.
