The guy with the white cat in Bond Movies.I don't know his character either. Just caught his name in the credits as I was wondering, but I have no idea about his backstory.
Who is Blofeld?
Just saw that.
There seem to be quite a few mysteries about this new film. Which is welcome.

Man... I'm so torn about this... I wouldn't say I hated it... But as much as I enjoyed parts of it, others were really terrible... Not sure... Not too happy about this... I wanted to love this movie but I feel somewhat cheated... [emoji53]
I'd suggest seeing it again, Jose. I was conflicted about some parts but I realized I missed a few details during the first viewing.
Ahhhh, calling was a good idea. The email with the codes had no expiration date listed. But the 2014 codes expired December 31, so I just assumed...The code expires in March I believe... when the renewed the memberships. I called the other day to ask. I'm thinking of getting the bookends too.
Yes she is!Also, I take back everything I said about Daisy Ridley's big teeth. She's adorable.
Indeed!Daisy is adorable
Thanks for depressing the hell out of me.So this one's for you...
There's another thing that's been eating at me with seeing it. I got banned from rebelscum.com for being a member of banthaskull.com back in 2008. What happened is a long story, but those of us who were part of the site from the beginning shared a bond. Earlier this year, one of us died of an especially uncomfortable form of cancer. SithMan was a quiet, incredibly polite, incredibly friendly guy who really only lived for Star Wars. He was single his whole life, worked with the disabled, and spent all of his money on his collection (mostly Hasbro figures and actors' signatures from the six movies). Survived by a sister, and that's it.
When the news of his illness hit, I was long gone from the site. I didn't know what was happening until he was gone. Apparently, he was pretty confident in his chances, and cancer being cancer, he took a sharp turn for the worse. It was over quickly. As ****ed up as it may seem, several of us had the same first reaction: Mark's not going to get to see The Force Awakens. His story didn't have a 'happy' ending like the guy who got to see the raw edit. It was just plain old fashioned, nameless, cruel death.
Sorry to get so heavy. It's just that Star Wars is more than a movie, and I'm feeling it more than usual these days.
7 is a good number. I'll see it 6 times for sure. 3 down, and 3 more Sundays to go (for the AMC posters).Im definitely seeing this again on the big screen several more times, at least 5 and possibly 7. Why 7?............not sure but it sounds just right.......
Why are you dressed like Princess Leia?
JEDI AVFIN
I bought it on Friday as well. $9.99 is quite the bargain!
I kinda agree with you. I had high expectations for the movie, and they weren't exactly met. I think I enjoyed it more than you did, but I enjoyed it less than some, and I basically agree with your last sentence. I definitely enjoyed it overall, moreso than the prequels. Many things about the movie I loved. Several things about the movie I hated. I loved one droid, while being disappointed in another. And I was highly disappointed in the way it ended. I mean, it sets up Episode VIII very well, but I really wanted more...Just saw the movie.
It was ok, but not great. I would have been disappointed had it not been for the fact that I was going in expecting EP 1 all over again. To me is was a bad remake of EP 4 and 5 combined.
He is AWESOME! Both in real life, and in the movie. I thought he was fantastic. He's gonna turn out to be a big deal...John Boyega's snapchat is filled with him going to theatres and thanking fans for coming to see SW. Such a good guy and a big fan of SW like us!

Honestly, I could sit down and tear ANH and ESB to pieces. But I judge them by the standards of Space Opera Popcorn Movies. I have no serious problems with TFA. Of course there are things I'd have seen done differently. That's life. I enjoyed the flick and will do so again.
Three viewings in I am enamored with Daisy and her versatility and am happy with the rebirth of the movies that shaped me and mean so much to me.
I loved it. Of course nothing is perfect and I can nitpick it down to the core if i wanted to. I have 2 things ill discuss in here next week when its agreed to chat away but they aren't even major problems. The more you watch it the more OT you see. Each viewing i found myself smiling at something new.

3rd viewing down............4 to go.i watched the 3d version first which I think was a mistake because I think I missed a bunch of the outer scenes while concentrating on the center shot that looked cool in 3d. When viewing the regular I was like........was this in the first showing I watched.........
Hey, Barry! I miss you, dude!
Yeah, I liked the Standard viewing more than the 3d.... I also had audio issues during my first viewing. The music was way off.... then I saw it a second time and BAM! Tunes!
