Some things I noticed during the film you all can look for too... No real spoilers, just some mistakes I noticed in two scenes with costumes.

During the scene where Hux is doing his Nazi type speech to the army... it starts with the behind and above view... when it changes to the front view showing the stage he is standing on and Phasma and other troops behind him, look to the far left Trooper... there are two on the end with orange pauldrons.... the far right one's pauldron has fallen and is in the middle of his chest. :lol they then pan back to the army, and then back to the stage... it is then back up on the shoulder.

Also, in the scene at the Starkiller base when a trooper comes up to Kylo Ren and says that they searched the detention block and Rey was nowhere to be found but they will keep looking... right after that discussion, 4 troopers run trot by and turn down a hallway. The trooper with the orange pauldron on has it on the incorrect shoulder. (it's on his left when it should be on the right)

I'll keep an eye out for those next time. :)

A old friend just called and asked if I wanted to see it in january when he is in town. :) so atleast 2 more viewings booked.

[...]I highly recommend multiple viewings, but I think most of us have already done that...

I was scheduled to see it two days in a row, but a buddy of mine wanted us to help him stage an elaborate proposal that I couldn't say no to, so won't see it again until I'm back from Europe in the new year.

First time was IMAX 3D; looking forward to a regular viewing or two.

Two viewing sofar. Will probably end up at about 7 since alot of people have decided they have to see it with me for some reason. :)

3D first, 2D second viewing and I prefer 2D.

Daisy, Boyega and Driver did well but for me Fords performance stole the show.
Chewbacca stole the show, to me! Ford was great, and BB-8 was actually good, but Chewie was FANTASTIC!!!

I don't see how that 2nd one could even happen?!?!?! At first I thought maybe they reversed the image, and that could be the case. Did any of the other troopers in that scene have pauldrons? If not, that is probably the answer. If they did, then my theory is out the window... I will look for those the next time I see it... Tomorrow night is $5 night at Marcus, but I bet it will be crazy busy!

Where are you in Europe? Have fun!!! Buy some cool foreign collectibles or Star Wars packaged food items! :)

Agreed! I bought HT Chewbacca more because I was curious and didn't want to miss out on what I've confirmed is a really cool figure...after TFA I'm doubly glad I did, because for the first time for me, I see him as a stand-alone character now.

I'm currently in Germany visiting with my girlfriend's family and will be in Finland for NYE. There is a LCS nearby...hmmm...

Finland for New years? Your liver will die. :)

Tell me about it. Two dinners with my girl's German parents and I'm already feeling it. We're taking a cruise from Hamburg to Helsinki, and due to crossing the date line, I believe we get TWO NYE. :horror

I think the only thing comparable was drinking Rakia with my Serbian friends a few years ago.

I have a friend who is from Finland, he can drink absurd amounts of alcohol. Hardy people the finns. :)

Yeah, Chewy was great! :D

4 or 6 troopers I believe, only one with the pauldron. I thought possibly a flipped image, but don't think so given the scene. I joked that it was a guy who put it on that way so he could point it out in the film... "Look! That trooper is me! I can tell cause I put my pauldron on wrong so I could know which scenes I'm in."

It's a flipped image. The circle on their back is on the wrong side. Also, Daisy is holding the gun like a lefty and not a rightly. She's holding it like a rightly in a later shot.

I'll have to check the circle on the back during my next viewing, as I'm sure there will be one. :lol Even before my meet up with fury and the others in Chicago.

I haven't seen it again yet. I think I have softened some, I never really disliked it but was kind of upset at first that it seemed like so much was just stolen form before. I would have preferred it been a lil more original.

Going to see it tomorrow for the 3rd time.
Sent this pic to jjj, he thought it was cool, so I share it here.
My last run of the year.....my daughter is in front of me
