As long as a child Jason Voorhees doesn't sit on the stoop with "Love Hurts" playing while Pam is out stripping and there isn't an extended white-trash Voorhees family with some screaming baby, this movie should be a-okay with me.

Dude,I appreciate you saying that. Thank you for agreeing with me on the fact that the Halloween REMAKE SUCKS!!! I actually plan on seeing Jason Voorhees when I'm watching this,only a updated more brutal Jason. Not some horrible interpretation of him like Rob Zombie's Halloween. Damn,Rob ruined Myers.

As far as originals go Myers is the best IMO but remake wise new Leatherface and Jason are WAY better. I haven't even seen the movie yet and I know the movie and Jason are going to be better than Zombie's horribe,crappy Michael Myers. Remake Leatherface and Jason are at the top of the food chain so for this generation I can see them being more popular than Zombie's Myers.
 
While I didn't exactly love this movie, it's certainly MUCH better than the god-awful Rob Zombie "Halloween" remake ^^^^fest.

The TCM remake is better than this, though.

I enjoyed the first cut of the Halloween flick. The one that got leaked....but yeah, its crap.

Well I remember watching H20 in theatres and being very dissapointed (although a good film) because the score was so ................... not Halloween.

Would the score of H20 be a good comparison?
 
This movie is fn awsome :rock just got back from the midnight showing and It's def my fav horror remake so far, with Texas chainsaw in 2nd.
 
Just got back from the premiere and loved it! Jason is amazing! I'm so f'n satisfied with how they did him and the movie. This is the best remake so far by far. It was friggin' brutal as hell and the best part...Jason is scary!!! Can't remember when I was last afraid of him.
 
I met Jason and he choked me as I was on my way into the movie. Don't sweat my girl body :D :lol
