Just got back from the premiere and loved it! Jason is amazing! I'm so f'n satisfied with how they did him and the movie. This is the best remake so far by far. It was friggin' brutal as hell and the best part...Jason is scary!!! Can't remember when I was last afraid of him.

same here!!!! i was clapping through the whole movie. they finally fixed the biggest gripe i ever had with Jason in the prior films...he actually runs!!! it now makes sense that he always catches up to his victims. and the amount of boobies in this movie is freaking awesome!!!!

haha yeah,the brunette in the begining with the baby oil was freakin' hot as hell I was hoping Jason wouldn't have killed her just so I could watch her run away

and yeah,everyone in my theatre including myself was clapping. I couldn't believe how many people were at the midnight showing,it was packed. Everyone started clapping right away once the opening scene happened and Jason took out them 5 kids.

Saw a midight showing of it. I gotta admit this is one of the few remakes I was actually looking foward to see and I have to say it definantly exceeded my expectations. I can't remember the last time I actually jumped in a movie let alone a movie with Jason in it. Nice to actually have Jason feel menacing for once. Admittadly most of the plot a kills were pretty predictible but then again most F13 movies are so I guess I can't really fault it too much for that.

It's really good,you gotta see it. They did an amazing job,new Jason is a friggin' beast. He's so damn hardcore and brutal and scary. They did him the same way they did Leatherface,ruthless and cold and badass!

I cannot believe how packed the 12:01 showing was. I was thinking there'd maybe be like 10 other people there but it ended up being packed as hell. So good luck and hope ya like it!

its a relief to hear that f13 is an awesome remake because, lets face it most remakes take a turn for the worst, except fot texas chainsaw massacre wich i thought was pretty cool. will definately have to watch this either today or tomorrow at latest.i hope we get a new version of Jason from sideshow.

I'd love a ss remake Jason figure but I'm not holding my breath. That's why I just got the neca 19" one. It's a damn nice figure and the best anyone's done so far IMO.

And if you loved The Texas Chainsaw Masacre remake and prequel then you'll love Jason.

I really liked the remake of TCM but was disgusted with the prequel, I still want that hour and a half of my life back. One of the dumbest and most pointless horror movies i've watched to date.

I don't see anything wrong with remakes, in fact i'd encourage them more. I also like RZ's Halloween, nothing near Carpenters 78' version but it was a good movie imo.

I also agree the NECA 19" looks great! Congrats on getting that Morbach.

Glad so many of you liked this as much as you did. I wasn't quite as thrilled with it, but I did like it and it's definitely the best F13 movie since Part 4 or 5, imho.

I liked the TCM remake and prequel. You seen how badass and brutal Leatherface was,well,that's what Jason's like. There's no cheezziness to him at all (like in the old ones) he's just pissed and wants revenge for his mom.
