You mean like the negativity shown towards the Aragorn PF and Fell Beast dio. Sure there's been alot of negative response, but did you ever think it might just be warranted? Seems to me the vast majority of people posting here, or on SS's own website have issue's with this piece. When exactly are we to "share our passion for collecting Sideshow"...when the item is fantastic and we can all heap praise on it?

As for the "rude", cross the line comments...maybe you'ld like to give us some examples?, as I personally think the opinions expressed have been quite civil in nature.

Woodsy...even you have to admit there have been comments that crossed the line...

If its as bad as this one is....i hope the artists read this maybe it'll open their eyes and they'll make this figure worth the 250 shipped price. based on the images i've seen, this is the easiest pass of the PF i've ever had to make. i for one dont need "Transgender Galadriel" in my collection. Though to all that love this item thats GREAT!!! lets hope for a low ES!

This is the kind of comments we can do without. Perhaps it's your eyes that need opening?

Perhaps I'm wrongly trying to compare the negative response to this one with the lambasting the WK and Legolas [pre-Backstage Pass] LSB's got. I think the response for this one is mild in comparison to what they received.

We've seen the picture without the hood in one of the previous podcasts. After the pretty "negative" comments on the polystone hairpiece with the "real" hair attached, I'm guessing they decided on not making the hood removable. But I'm curious about it as well.

I was wondering about that myself...I just can't see this one looking better without the hood on.

Nooooooo!!! please don't take the hood off, good grief we saw the swimming cap thing she had going on with the hair before!! I think mixed media hair is really not a good idea SS, what were they thinking of?

I think someone said it before, but don't want to read the entire thread.

With the real hair it looks like a porcelain doll (like the ones old women collect) and not a sculpted statue.

Easy pass ...

I think alot of people would like to hear that answer.

Fair is fair, the chick with the red suit and the black hair (with a red hat) (don't know her name now, is it Electra or something?) looked good with "real" hair.

Yes, I have seen that statue in person and the hair looks very good.

The real hair is a non-issue. It's a mixed media item and they used the materials needed to make it most look like a real person. They should use real hair whenever possible.

i like the hair personally. if i could afford another PF line(LOTR), I'd get this one.

Come on dude.:emperor

Hey after all my whining and slagging I have it ordered because once again I have a sneaky feeling that this is going to look 100x better in hand and that the preview pics as usual are deceiving us somewhat. It worked that way with GTW PF and I think its the same here.

The PF's are, overpriced dolls in my opinion, but in some cases can be very good - Lurtz, Aragorn.

But in this case, this has put the nail in the coffin in that department (Are PF's dolls?). By having 'hair', it now looks like a barbie doll and the answer to this question is a resounding yes,

How anyone would want this PF doll over the SSW statue is beyond me, esp at a premium.

If SS indeed changed this to sculpted hair, then it would become an impressive mixed media statue. But still not for me...
Good luck to those who do, and make sure the dust doesn't settle cos that white cloth will get dirty in no time.

Its not the hair that bothers so much on its own its knowing that under the hood there TWO types of hair, sculpted and "real" if the preview pic we saw a while back is anything to go by, thats what bugs me most of all, I mean use one or the other, mixing them just looks cheap and tacky and don't really know why they did it! Anyway I have ordered it but I think she'll be keeping that hood up if I have anything to say about it!! :lol

I thought it was because otherwise you'd see the hair implants and it would look even more ridiculous?
