This statue is very well done, and there is no such thing as a 100% accurate statue, this one comes very close to the real deal imo.

to me the face is one of if not the most important features…her looking ****in ugly is not cool---the same way my shepard pf don't look like shepard…yes I'm happy with it from 3 ft away…but get me close to it and **** no it don't look like shepard..thats what I'm afraid of…bcz luckily i have the ex shepard…with this there isn't that option

If you don't like it, then you don't like it and shouldn't buy it. To me, her face looks really good on this statue. It's also nice in general to see a female statue that isn't just emphasizing the fan service everywhere.

If you don't like it, then you don't like it and shouldn't buy it. To me, her face looks really good on this statue. It's also nice in general to see a female statue that isn't just emphasizing the fan service everywhere.

The Tomb Raider reboot was intentionally designed to distance itself from Lara's sex object past. she isn't supposed to have the unrealistic fake boob look and pants riding up her crack.

I would argue the game did a poor job handling that, but that's a different discussion entirely.

I can respect your opinion but when I see this piece I see something completely different. I see a face that looks VERY close to her in game counterpart.

Now the eyeshadow may be more on the statue, ok. But the skin tone in these two pics is essentially spot on... So if she appears yellow on the statue, then it's because she appears yellow in the game.

It's odd because the face to me is actually one of it's selling points. I don't know how people can see such different things when looking at the same thing, but the face looks absolutely beautiful and realistic to me... The eyes look so life-like!

And I really don't get,...and I mean REALLY don't get anybody's argument that she looks Asian. There are small eyes, and then there are Asian eyes. Asian eyes have a certain look. These eyes are smaller,compared to like anime eyes for example, but they are NOT Asian designed.

So, to me, hearing the Asian comments seems ridiculous. It's almost as if those people have never seen an Asian person in their life...

I will decide once I have this piece in hand if I'm keeping her or not. But since I LOVE the prototype and since people are saying that the production pieces are SO similar to said prototype, unlike sometime Sideshow' s pieces can be, than I'm sure I'll love it.

I'm with you on the asian thing…she damn sure doesn't look asian..i never got that one..i would say look @ the following: look at the color change from directly under her eyes, to above her cheek bones, and lower; there is some very slight variation and it isn't the mud or whatever…second the eye shadow didn't look that bad in you comparison pics but if u look @ the face in the other pic i posted it stands out 2 me…aside from that those would be my only hesitations...

You're right the variation isn't the mud. And to be honest with you I didn't even really notice it until you just pointed it out. But it looks natural to me. It look like she has been beaten, battered, bruised, and is flushed from running on very little sleep. So natural in that sense.

As far as the eye shadow is concerned,...I don't know,... it just doesn't concern me as much as it maybe should.

It's not an eyesore, and I have seen plenty of Sideshow' s pieces rockin' a much more asinine look...
