We will get one if we are lucky because Indy will be taking up two boxes as well I think. And a Medi Clone will probably take the other. I think we will be lucky to see ONE Joe

I've been waiting for ages for this figure and ordered him without hesitation, even in spite of the price increase. Due to release in 3Q and there's time for good things to happen between now and then, maybe even a body upgrade. I must say the portrait is a nice as I'd hoped and his beard and hair also look nicely sculpted. Costume has lots of detail, yet not nearly as worn and weathered as it was in the films. That can all be dealt with later, and besides, this is still a prototype pending approval, so it's likely there will be some changes... hopefully the right ones! Both of his staffs are included, as I'd hoped, and it looks like his pipe can be carried on them like in Fellowship, too! I'm really looking forward to adding this long-awaited figure to my collection. Here come those Wookies again...

I still think it looks good. I'm also hoping for a new body. I don't see how Indy could but others that come out the same time or later won't. Gandalf probably doesn't have a neck. I also hope this line keeps going on and on...

BEAUTIFUL! Awesome figure damn near Hot Toys quality and detail. The price is worth it to me as I prefer closer to perfect pieces rather than cutting corners just to maintain a price point.

I think Gandalf looks wonderful!

I was blown away by the price. I used my reward points on him so he will cost around $25. I can't believe he is $100 (w/shipping) That is almost half of a PF.

Beautiful figure, he looks just amazing. Knew they were going to add the Balin's Book as the exclusive.

they are probably tired of LOTR figures that never sell out so they will just mark him Sold Out in a day or 2 and slap a 750 edition size on him.

He looks fantastic and I ordered one but that price may just force me to cancel. Not only do I feel it isn't worth $90 but I'd most likely won't have the money for him.

personally i dont see the price as too high because of the detail of accesories and wardrobe. it is more than just a grey robe. both staffs are detailed beautifully as well as that hat. face sculpt is perfect. its not like these come out every week or even every month. they aren't gonna make LOTR figures forever like SW. so if im gonna piece together a nice set for a little more money then so be it.

If they do that (which I HIGHLY doubt) then the price suddenly becomes very reasonable since this figure will undoubtedly be the grail for any 1/6 LOTR fan.

I'd say the price is too high mainly because the cloths HAVEN'T been detailed. They need to be worn at least to the extent Strider's were.
