It sucks big time. I'm gonna write them asking what the deal is. The box size looks to be as big as the Frankenstein box, which i got from the EU warehouse. The Thing PF and The Incredible Hulk PF boxes are bigger and they too came from the EU warehouse. If they stick to this "oversize" story then i'll have to get it from a place in Germany.

I'll get my hands one somehow. I just don't want to pay $250+ shipping and 25% customs because SS says it's oversized. It would cost me almost $1000 because of it whereas if it shipped from the EU warehouse it would be roughly $675.

I'm just curious to see how they will package this for shipping.... I know the PF figure was OH SO fragile and delicate.... And this looks like the ear/flaps are pretty fragile...

I'm sure it's sturdy. The PF was exceptionally delicate due to its stringy design.

Perhaps that's why it's a unique shipping circumstance, maybe some pieces will have to be assembled on arrival, there is risk of damage in shipping with this one.

I've got my order placed though, can't wait to have him.

The Grievous PF packaging and assembly was pretty complex, but it got to you safely.

I ordered it, but I will cancel it once my dealer got it up for preorder here in Europe. I really can´t understand why Sideshow doesn´t use Fedex or UPS instead of Royal Mail for oversized items, it will save the EU collectors money and we won´t order it elsewhere.

still debating on this guy... i ordered him, but i think i will cancel because i really didn't like the character that much. but the bust does look awesome and i'm sure MaulFan's pictures will make me reconsider cancellation.

If you appreciated the duel between him and Kenobi, despite the goofiness of the PT, he's worthy of getting, I think. Being more partial to the OT I'll still consider him over Bossk and Greedo.

Yes, I have noticed that A LOT items that where premiered at SDCC this year, are only shipping from the US warehouse. And, some of them are not even 'oversized'. This US warehose only thing is happening more and more lately. Looks like SSC hasn't got much love for us EU collectors somehow.

Before getting to excited why not call them and ask?? I'm sure there is a business reasoning behind it... It may not be a reason you want to hear, but I don't think they would go out of their way to upset the consumer...

Yeah, i'm guessing it won't be long before we can only get 12 inch figures from the EU warehouse

But i just send them an e-mail asking them if they're for real and letting them know how i feel about it. If you planed on getting one too, i surgest doing the same. The same goes for all EU collector's who wanted one (if there are any ). It might help. I'm just hoping it's an error.

agreed..if he has a bigger part in the upcoming Animated Clone Wars i might keep him. Bossk and Greedo are not important IMO...neither one of them are worth that much money.

Grievous, for me, isn't about character but his visual appearance. As far as a character, in ROTS he was weak compared to how they played him in CW, however, I love the design ILM ended up with and any well executed product featuring the design I'm game for.
