Broke and happy
Just got back from seeing this flick...it was a good end of summer action movie!
My nieces & nephews loved it and I had a good time watching it with them.
You go D.S.

Thanks, Bro!
It's funny...right now all the kids are outside playing GI JOE!
It's great to see that, brings back memories and it's great to see my nieces get into it and kick some butt!
That's what I'm talking about..
I'm in TRU right now, getting my nephew some GI goodies....Snake Eyes in hand.
I really wish this movie came out 8 or 9 years ago...
I think that's why I enjoyed the movie, Jye, it made me feel like a kid again!
Couldn't have said it better DS!
Thanks! It's things like this hobby and the GI JOE movie that keep us young!
now where's my walker...
I can't believe I'm 42 and I own a Hulk PF and will have a 40" Iron Man 7 months from now
Saw this today and loved it
It was definitely a fun movie, just like a G.I. Joe movie should be. Lots of references to the cartoon as well, so that was pleasantly surprising. I didn't like the Baroness/Duke relationship all that much (not as "deep" as it was), but other than that, no real complaints! A hell of a lot of action/gunfire/explosions, and I thought the effects were really well done. They set up the next movie perfectly too. Can't wait
This movie will definately be in my Blu-ray collection, I'm guessing by Christmas to help sell more Hasbro toys.
That's fine by me.

The Doctor would have been pretty cool had he turned out to be Dr. Mindbender instead of Cobra Commander (still one of the lamest things in the whole film). Instead, though, Mindbender is in the movie... played in a cameo by Sommers' teacher's pet and the actor with the most annoying voice of all time: Kevin J. O'Connor.
Bah. You can choose a much better time...
When I was 8-9, I went to the theater to see these movies called THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, SUPERMAN II and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Hell, even E.T., BLADE RUNNER and POLTERGEIST at age 10. I don't think that era will be topped, ever.
The poor subsequent generations are getting screwed.
