Not Teemu Selanne, but I do play in a Roller Hockey League. I hope Selanne re-signs with Anaheim or just still plays for that matter.He is my inspiration as a goal score-er

I saw Teemu play many times in person. Played for my city in his record breaking rookie season 76 goals back in 1992-93! What an NHL campaign!

I saw Selanne play in person when he played for San Jose in Philly.He scored a goal for me! Saw him up close before pre-game and he gave me the knod! It was cool giving him thumbs up and wearing his jersey in front of those crazy philly fans! Selanne was fantastic in 92-93 and still holds the rookie goal scoring record!

That he does! I almost got a picture taken with him, but instead I got one with Alexei Zhamnov! Damn, what was I thinking? Top-six quality career forward over a superstar and future Hockey Hall of Famer?! At the time Zhamnov came off a career season, 30 goals and 65 points in a 48 game NHL shortened 94/95 season. Good enough for third overall in NHL scoring. Teemu was roughing it in his sophomore and third seasons after scoring 76 goals and 132 points as a rookie. I tend to favour the better player at the time. 13 years later, not even close! Zhamnov is long retired, while Selanne can still score 40+ goals per season. *sigh*

In my opinion I do not think this movie looks good at all, Iron man basically raised my expectation for the summer movie season alot so seeing SR wouldn't do anything for me. But If I was a fan of the cartoon my opinion would probably be different because right now I have zero intrest

Just got back from seeing it and it was an orgy for the eyes. The plot...ehhhhhhhhh...the crazy visuals

It's going to be a kids/family movie--rated G, I think.

My kids will love it, but adults who loved the original will probably just see this as a missed opportunity.

That couldn't be further from the truth Tom. It's PG and awesome to boot! A great balance of kid fun without pandering and a level of excitement in the races to keep anyone on the edge of their seat. Serious fun if you can understand what the "brothers" are trying to set out and do. Nice to see a movie that can cater to adults, kids, and fans of the show. I mean they got things like the sound effects right and mannerisms of certain characters, hell even classic "Speed" poses! Between this and Iron Man last week it's been a great summer so far. Basically go see this movie, also for those who have seen it did you get a Mario Kart vibe from all of the races?

I bet those who do a lot of weed would be in for a pleasant surprize while watching this movie.

If you smoke weed before seeing this film your head might explode. The opening is like watching 5 caliedescopes at the same time and at the end the track begins to spin in a red and white checkered flury. It had me trippin' and all I had was some M&M's.

Eli I know you have sworn off this film but give it a chance. Have the Wachowski brothers ever done a bad film?
