Like the eyes. Which they did his Spines better. Just too much of a gap.

He is also much smaller. But I guess he would be if done in scale to the 90's versions.

it comes in all kinds of colors . I already have to many black and red and I wear navy to work . I wanted to Change it up a bit

It's Godzilla 2000 but it's based on Yuji Sakai's maquette for the movie and not the suit.

Sakai's original Godzilla sculpts all show '54 influence, he can not only sculpt great pieces based on existing G's but design new ones too. I'm so bummed we never saw his 2000 realized in a movie, the final suit seems like a kid-friendly version, almost like a modern version of a Showa suit. Sakai's G2K is badass, I'm so glad there are at least easily had collectibles of it.

Was it you who mentioned that the reason that maquette design didn't make it into the film was the suit was lost and a different costume maker basically had to remake it from memory?
