It's in scale with the '89. Well not in figure scale at least.

G89 was 80 meters tall. G91 - 100 meters.
So this G91 model kit is in smaller scale.

X-Plus seems to be going the opposite route of gigantic series with their new mini line.

DUNK is putting out 30cm vinyl kit of the Kaibutsuya 84 kit, but limited to 50 pieces.:gah: Still hoping X-Plus does it as a gigantic.

None of the different 30 cm g's are in scale with each other ... Otherwise the 64, 62, etc would be half the size...
They just do them in the two collectible sizes 10 and 12 inch (30-ish cm)

The 89/91 is one of the most evil, powerful looking in the series, I love it, never could really get behind 92-94 because to me they're weak versions of the design. At least 95 restored all those qualities before the series went on hiatus.

Totally...it was the Biollante biogoji and ghidogoji versions I love the most from the heisei era because they looked the most realistic...

Somebody on here knew the history of the suits...I forgot who, but I guess what happened was the suit and head couldn't be replicated , and 92-93 was the result.
It just looked too exaggerated and "designed" -- like a stylized version of godzilla with fake looking eyes ... It never looked good in my opinion.

94 and 95 were better proportioned, like a hulking monster, but still too human looking.

That's what I love about the 89/91, millenium concept and the gmk godzilla-- animal-like.

Great pics...I love the stand they included,
I'm glad they didn't use a little stilt....

Also I was trying to see the tongue inside the mouth, but I couldn't make it out...I haven't removed mine from the box yet...not til I have more room.

I havent heard of an '84 being released. Only 50?!

I'm watching it, what I'd give to have $250.

That's funny. I was talking about an auction on Yahoo. The ebay auction wasn't even up at the time. The one on Yahoo is 20,000 yen, about $170. So after fees and shipping, it's probably the same.

There's 2 on ebay now, considering how much a mass produced X-Plus 12" costs, $250 for this given how limited seems very reasonable and if i had that money I'd be all over it.

I like the body, but the head looks like it's made out of Rice Krispies treats, and the nose is terrible.

I just got the X-Plus Gigantic GMK (kit version) for $250, so that will have to be my Gozi fix for the time being.
