Shin won me for he's so similar to '1954. A monstrosity of nature created unwillingly by man that could destroy us all. Well... it was the movie that fascinated me to be precise. When you're in a similar kind of job, you couldn't help but impress how Anno perfectly captured "tones" and "feelings" you got everyday.
And my Koto Shin display is now 100%. I realized that floating shelf couldn't handle giant acrylic case's weight so I bought new desk just to display it. -_-;
BTW I think X-Plus gigan Shin looks good as it is. Otherwise,
IF you got some experience in painting you could mini-repaint it. But only if you know exactly what you're doing. So it's not recommended IMO.
PS I'm interesting to see how production items of Ric turns out. His shelf is ready (well, THAT floating shelf). Might mod it with LED to be this year's Christmas tree.
