I agree, unfortunately after it's success, it became the new model for future animated Disney films, until they returned to form with films like Tangled and Frozen

I never never never ever EVER leave the theater during a first viewing of any movie it was really odd that I did it with this movie but we were hungry and I had to go get my free refills lol

I’m almost at a point where I am done with anything cartoon animated no matter what it is and i’m seriously considering keeping the HBO Spawn series as my only animated cartoon in my vast collection of crap.
I remember my second viewing of TFA in 2015 watching someone get up right before Han stepped out onto the bridge and then coming back moments after he died. I'm sure that was a fun recap he got from his wife after waiting 32 years to find out what happened to his favorite heroes, lol.

Don’t hate me but unfortunately that is the case I know his animated movies are supposed to be better than most live action movies but also unfortunately for animated movies I feel like live action cgi is now my sole preference for cinematic story telling.
Not because I think that cartoons are below me or i’m too cynical for cartoons it’s just that I feel that “live-action” takes care of that now for me.

Yup that’s my point exactly if i’m going to sit and watch a movie and my choices are between a traditional Godzilla cartoon or a live-action Godzilla CGI carton i’m going with the latter.

What If the difference between the animation and live action, is like the difference between Return of the Jedi and Attack of the Clones?
I was originally going to compare with Star wars instead of Jedi, but I don't think I'm willing to make that bold a statement.
Basically, I'd just think you'd want to see the best version of the movie.

Reading between the lines, the had a 40% day , historically at this point it should only be 10-15 % of opening.
