15.99 is better then disney's 30 bucks (+$12-15 monthly fee) to rent it for 3 months at which point it will be free, i've skipped all their ripoff releases but ill let them bend me over for Black widow lol.

So I just got back from watching this. My son loved it but he is 11 so he's probably in the target demographic.

I personally found it a little slow moving and boring. The human characters were lame and annoying. Overall the movie was disappointing and not worth the wait. I would not watch it again even if flicking through the channels on late night TV.

I was pleasantly surprised with who won the battle between Godzilla and Kong though.

The posters are more entertaining than the movie. They certainly know how to hype this thing up but it's a pity the film didn't live up to the hype.

Yeah I'm hearing mixed opinions - specifically about the human characters being a slog per usual. I was hoping they'd finally cut loose all-out monster stuff since it's Godzilla vs. Kong, but it's disappointing to hear that may not be the case.

They don't have the budget to make it just about the monsters fighting, But it seems like people who felt like the battles in the previous movies cut away too much or were too dark will like this one better.

Apparently only 30 people or so gave it a bad review with that hashtag restorethesnyderverse. Not even close to being a “review bombing” these articles are making it out to be. Still extremely stupid regardless. I’m not sure what they think that will help accomplish.
