I can see bullock being dirty as he is right now but Gordon will influence him to be a better cop. Bullock has always been rough around the edges and toes the line but he's always been a good cop. One of the very few that Gordon and even batman could trust.

That's pretty dirty. :lol

I don't think this version of him has been proven to be a bad cop. Definitely cynical, lazy and jaded, but not utterly corrupt.

Donald Logue is awesome, he eats lunch among the crew and even background, really cool dude. :wink1: McKenzie sometimes does but disappears a lot. :lol I have to say, and I'm sure others who've worked the show can attest, the bread pudding they serve for lunch is DIVINE. :yess: The show will be changing many aspects of the mythology, including names, but will be full of subtle teases. Without spoiling much, there will be a villain, not announced yet, or rather a reference to one, in the episode that has a theme based on a Brad Pitt film. Hopefully that's non-spoilerish enough to say to avoid breach of non-disclosure. :lol

dw, do you work on specifically comic book related films/shows? Let me work with you! Lol

Saw episode 2 a few nights back and thought is was even better than the premiere! I really like the direction of this show more and more. Really looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.

Haha, Gotham just happens to film in NY. I've worked on various TV shows that film in NY (Blue Bloods, Elementary, The Blacklist, Person of Interest, Law & Order: SVU, Mysteries of Laura, The Following, Nurse Jackie, Orange is the New Black, Boardwalk Empire, The Knick, Forever, Bluff aka Daredevil, and some that haven't aired yet, those are the ones I did in the past few months when I've been on break or before BvS started filming our scenes) when I'm not working elsewhere on a feature. I am, however, very selective towards comic book related ones, being a nerd at heart. :wink1: I would cancel bookings whenever Gotham would call me. :lol

I agree. I hope fox gives this a fair chance.

I'm definitely getting more into the groove of this show. I thought the balloon shot at the start was a bit silly, to be honest, but the rest were fine. And the concept is kind of a nice over-the-top but not straight up comic book idea. The stuff with Barbara was a little less boring this time. Still enjoying the Penguin. I could have used subtitles for whatever Alfred was saying during the sparring with Bruce, though!

I wish they'd tone it down a bit with Penguin. He's dangerous, we get it. I don't think we need to see him kill someone every five minutes. Fish Mooney, good lord. You ain't Nigel Tufnel honey, don't go to 11. I also don't give two ****s about Barbara and the female cop's old romance.

Everything with Bullock and Gordon is all good.

The bit between Montoya and Barbara is just to challenge her estimate of Gordon. I can see how it comes off as contrived, but I thought it had a great payoff at the end. It also gives her a shadow. I think that animates her attraction to him. It's more than just a princess in love with the good guy.

It's getting annoying quick that Cobblepott is killing in every episode, and killing just to get a job and some shoes that he could have bought with that $100 he stole from killing that other guy.

To be fair, he had no choice this time, but he's young so it makes sense for him to kill people. When he's older and he's the big boss, he won't have to do it because he'll have people doing the killing for him....Michael Corleone style :)
