Anyone else notice Alfred has an Australian accent rather then English? also no one else noticed the green "Q" Easter egg on the side of the building in the second episode?

Sean Pertwee, son of the most English-y Doctor Who Jon Pertwee performing with an ozzie accent? :gah:

I'm wondering why the makers of the two Batman feature film series never tried this formula for Oscar Cobblepot? He seems perfect to be adapted into this mafiosa would be killer yet no one has ever attempted it.

My wife actually saw the previews and thought she was going to enjoy it a lot. She's not really into super hero stuff but this caught her eye. We watch 5 mins of the pilot and she was complaining left and right. :lol Had to turn it off and will watch it later on my own.

Yea my wife watched both episodes.

And by watched, I mean on Facebook on her phone.

Like how she watches all shows.

I just saw the first two episodes and I thought it was good! Not great, but good enough to entertain overall. The show definitely seems to be finding its footing, and I hope it finds it and get some fine tuning after a few episodes. I love Benjamin McKenzie as Gordon, which is funny because he was my least favorite Batman ever.

That being said, this show is on FOX so, don't hold your breath. :monkey3

Harvey Dent is going to be in the show....and he's also older than Bruce Wayne :lol

Masters of ***'s Nicholas D'Agosto will join the cast of Warner Bros.' Gotham as Harvey Dent, Deadline reports.

According to the report, Gotham's Dent is a bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned the city. Although he will one day serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly as a DA, Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become: Two-Face.

In Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever, the role was played by Tommy Lee Jones. In Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, the role was played by Aaron Eckhart.

Deadline also notes that the gangster responsible for disfiguring Dent, leading to his transformation into Two-Face, is Sal Maroni, who was referenced in Monday's "Selina Kyle" episode and recently cast in a recurring role. David Zayas will play Maroni.

D'Agosto is recurring as well, although he has a clause in his contract that will allow him to be upgraded to regular should the series get a second season. It's widely expected that will happen.

This show sucks.

- why is Selina involved in everything?
- why does she have a matured, 30 year old face on a 12 year old body?
- where is Gordon's mustache?
- why is Alfred walleyed?
- why is Alfred a prick?
- why is Barbara a sloot?
- how does an artist and a cop have such a nice looking apartment with a fireplace?
- what's with all the shots of the city pans?
- why is The Fresh Prince's woman in this?
- why is her acting so bad?
- why does the Penguin kill someone every episode?
- why is kid Bruce EMO? Batman ain't supposed to be into gothic Hot topic drawings and self mutilation
- why are all these characters older than Bruce?
- why is the music so bad? Doesn't even fit what's in screen?

Best thing about the show is the cinematography and Bullock, but even then, he's a prick too.

I always pegged Bullock as a crooked cop, not a straight up dirty one like this one. He's more John Flass than Bullock.

Yeah, he's a far cry from BTAS Bullock (though, I think BTAS Bullock accepted bribes on occasion, even though he was a good cop).

Still, this Bullock is more like able than say Flass or Lt. Eckhart. As a new interpretation I dig him. Gordon and Bullock are about the only good thing from this show.

Elaboration: I'm trolling DiFabio.

But, seriously, far more enjoyable, personally. I am not and never have been a fan of '89 Batman.
