Are they even gonna have any of batmans rogues gallery to introduce or hint at for season 2? It seems like they're trying to cram as many villains in as quickly as possible.

So far we have penguin, cat woman, riddler, poison ivy, bane, falcone, Maroni, dollmaker. Zaszz is also supposed to appear this season.

This show is irritating to me, they drive around in 80s cars and watch crappy tube tvs but have modern cell phones. What's going on?

Another crap episode.

I have no problem with that. This is an alternate reality where superheroes to be exist.

I agree^^ Noted the time/era discrepancies but look at it for what it is...fiction. I'm liking the series so far, but I also didn't get to know the "real" back stories to the Batman mythos, and only really know what I know from a few old Batman comics I read in the mid 90's, and what has been done in the movies. Not enough exposure to really know any better, so for me it's just 'entertainment'. But I can see where this would irritate a die hard fan who grew up with Batman/Detective Comics.

All of the casting calls say that Gotham is timeless but they want a certain noir look. They want 80s and before style cars for picture cars and it's practically fall/winter season all the time so no shorts/sandals at any time, probably no short-sleeve tees either. Hell, they practically end up putting everyone in their wardrobe even if you bring your own stuff. :wink1: You did NOT hear this from me. :lecture And yes, Zsazz is coming up real soon. And soon, there will be another reference to a rogue to add to your list that hasn't been mentioned in an upcoming "Brad-Pitt-movie-themed" episode, without giving away any spoilers. :wink1:

Yes, It is nice to see "Batman" actually figuring things out instead of yelling at the bad guys to reveal their plans to him.

It's not just that. It's his obsession to know everything and the fact that he doesn't act like a normal person, especially for a kid. All the live action Bruce Wayne from the films, act normally...like there's nothing wrong with them.

I have been watching this show, but haven't really gotten too into it...until now. It has been a slow burn, but I am liking all the double dealing and backstabbing that is being set up. I know some people are not liking Fish Mooney too much because she is so over the top, but that is what i like about her. She is a polarizing figure. That's what makes her interesting to me. I am officially "hooked" now. :rock

I was realy expecting for this show to Bomb ,but so far so good. I didnt think the actor's would work ,but again all been doing good with decent story writing. So far I'm hooked been watching on net fox waiting for a few show's then catch up ALL at once make's it fun and not caught hanging TIL NEXT WEEK BAT FAN'S SAME BAT TIME , SAME BAT CHANNEL.....

I think Gotham finally found its groove. I was on the fence for the first four episodes, and the baloonman sort of caught me off guard. I didn't quite know what the show wanted to be, tonally, and, with that in mind, I didn't quite know what to make of it, but, whatever tone they were going for, they nailed it here. This was the turning point, for me, and I'm definitely sticking around.

People are starting to like this show. Expect Fox to announce it's canceled by Thanksgiving.

Why doesnt Bruce just stick on the suit right now?..... lets get it started :rotfl

:lecture.....truth

I know you're joking, but, if it continues this way, I wouldn't say "no" to a Boardwalk Empire style time jump to 5 or 10 years in the future. We'll get a Batman who's an actual detective!
