I think so. It really found its groove this week, IMO. You may want to watch the rest of the episodes. Last week's a was "meh," but this one was fantastic.
I know you're joking, but, if it continues this way, I wouldn't say "no" to a Boardwalk Empire style time jump to 5 or 10 years in the future. We'll get a Batman who's an actual detective!

She will play Dr. Leslie Thompkins, a gifted and dedicated physician who was a friend of Bruce Wayne’s parents, Thomas and Martha. She is determined to use her skills to aid Gotham’s most in need, which currently means working at the newly opened Arkham Asylum’s Home for the Criminally Insane. In addition to her medical skills, her coolness under pressure will serve her well as she finds herself drawn close to James Gordon and into more and more dangerous waters.

Finally an episode I didn't want to turn off.
Finally watched Monday's episode on DVR...very good. I'm enjoying the tone they are establishing and Bullock continues to be hilarious. Good stuff
