It really feels like they have no idea what to do with Fish now.

Like she was there as a new villain so they wouldn't have to introduce well known Rogues like Joker and now that they are anyway, she's just sort of in the way. Way too many stories are unresolved and going at once. It's completely nuts.

Hopefully Falcone takes her out soon

Big Willie's Deadshot too don't forget. He loves getting his family jobs so I'm sure he's had a few words about making sure she stays employed. Hope I'm wrong though.

I like the show, but my one issue is that with all these known villains running around our big bad guy weekley regular is .................Fish Mooney. I know this is set before our big known villains become famous and popular, but still. I hope the second season sees some of the more popular villians taking on their big time persona and making names for themselves. Penguin is the closest to doing so and the actor plating him is great in the role.

They just have too damn much to keep track off. Start a mob war and eliminate a few characters, bring the correct ones like Jim and Harvey back to the forefront. Get rid of Maroni, Fish, maybe a few others scatter and go into hiding so their out for a bit.

I like Maroni actually. Fish, at this point, could care less about her. They should stop with the whole villain of the week gimmick and just focus on the mob and Gordon dealing with their crimes and trying to stop them, with the occasional Bruce Wayne and Alfred scenes in there. Gordon fighting a crazy villains every week makes no sense...that's Batman's job.

I still haven't seen anymore episodes after the balloon man vigilante. Judging by the previews, they've really blown their load with the villains. Everyone but Selina and Ivy are 15-20+ years older than Bruce?

Isn't this another universe though?

This show has nothing to do with any of the old films or any of the upcoming films, so they can do whatever they want, like Smallville (tv show). It's interesting because in the comics, DC is known for their multiverse, and originally there were an infinite number of universes/realities. However, in the 80's they got rid of it, but that all changed a few years ago, and in the current continuity there are only 52 different versions. I like to think that Gotham takes place in one of those alternate realities.

I read somewhere that they do consider the movies and TV series an in-continuity alternate universe. I can't imagine they keep to that 52 limitation long though because they have:

-Batman vs Superman universe
-Arrow/Flash Universe
-Constantine universe
-Supergirl universe
-Gotham Universe
-Titans Universe

That's over 10% of their universes right there. :lol

Started watching this show and just finished episode 3. So far, I'm really liking it.
