Definitely an improvement.
I still feel like the humor falls flat but a lot of that depends on how much good will the movie builds up before Reynolds starts doing his schtick.
Regardless, I'll be there.

Interestingly enough Reynolds admitted at WonderCon that he did not do any kind of interpretation or adlibbing of the script. He said he felt like it wouldn't do justice to the character to not do it as written. So whatever schtick you see on screen will what the writers inserted without having a main actor casted. Sure the lines will have the traditional inflection as Reynolds always dues but he didn't add.

Does anyone know if this'll be released in IMAX 3D? I was blown away by that preview and I would love to see it in IMAX.

Huh. That is interesting, and maybe why it doesn't play as funny (to me) as Reynolds usually is.

But like I said...nothing I've stuck in the negative column is keeping me from being there opening day. I hope everything else lives up to the visuals.

Overall it looked good but the costume and some of the aliens looked like cheap cgi. And we were all watching this on small screens. It will be interesting to see if there is further refinement for the big screen. This is so different from what MC has directed in the past.

Lukewarm, some good parts in the trailer but the CGI worries me. Hope it's good. The oath part was nice can't believe we finally see that in a movie.

He sound ridiculous when he grunts "GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!" Why the hell would they add that to the TV spots?

Didn't ruin anything for me but the grunt does seem out of place, as if they're trying to force the Oath to be cool and edgy trying to invoke some Batman like darkness to the dialogue in contrast to all the CGI brightness being displayed. :dunno

What's with the Transformers Superbowl trailer music being used on the 1st of the 2 TV spots though :tap

This movie is going to be awesome... everything looks great. Glad they didn't rush releasing anything new after the first trailer.

TV spots were pretty cool. I personally liked him saying the little oath during the tv spots.

:exactly: I am excited for this summer of comic films. GL, Thor, Cap, X-Men, Priest all look decent thus far. The actual movie may be different but will have my butt planted in the seat to determine for myself :yess:
