I read something about the Blackest Night story being a trilogy. Sinestro Corps War, something, and then Blackest Night. Can anyone help a brother out and let me know what to pick up?

If you're just getting into the Geoff Johns era of Green Lantern, it's best to start with rebirth and move up from there, it's a great read. I have every trade of GL/corps from Rebirth up until the end where new 52 reboot starts (although GL didn't really get a reboot at all). They're all good reads.

: You really have to start at Rebirth. Johns brings the characters back to their core (pun intended) and then weaves his own contributions to the mythos. For me his GL run peaked with the Sinestro Corps War - forever one of my highlights as a comic book reader - but it's great fun all throughout.

Yes I liked Sinestro Corps War far more than Blackest Night. It doesn't help that the trades for Blackest Night are a bit of a mess. Their are gaps in the Blackest Night trade that are intended to be filled by other trades and it gets convoluted. They should have made a trade that included issues from all sources and put them in chronological order.

Congrats Chin! Now you know why those of us that have him think so much of the piece. This is a fantastic sculpt and the light up features truly take it to another level.
