Very subtle. Not distracting and I didn't recall any "in your face" moments but still a nice depth of field throughout.

Yeah they really avoided those made for 3d moments, thats another reason to like this movie, and the decision to leave that **** out

The film didn't need 3D to be immersive.

I got "Falcon approaching the Death Star" vibes when the Guardians gang comes across that Knowhere skull system for the first time.

I was thinkin Fantastic Voyage

There was one scene where it was 3D into your face moment.

I thought the 3D was very well done, great depth during the ship battles.

Agreed. 3d did add something to the film. Having seen it in both 3d and regular now. Definitely a little bonus depth with 3d. And it added to the beautiful galactic scenery.

By CES 2016 glasses free 3D will be introduced and by summer-fall 2016 it will be available for purchase on high end 55" TVs and above to start.

It will breath new life into 3D.

It's actually available now but it needs a few more years to mature into home theater size screens.

Right now they are experiencing problems with the side viewing angles but they are very close to fixing that with an affordable solution.

Count me in.

Didn't you just get a new TV? Then NO....you can't have one.

I would assume its better than the 3D phone that came out awhile that you didn't need glasses for. Those made me cross eyed like those old magic eye 3D books as a kid

Are they even counting international box office? If not, why bother?

Why would they? They didn't open in most of the major international markets 10 days ago, including them in a 10 day vs would be stupid.

China accounts for 40% of TF 4's international and Guardians hasn't even opened there. :lol
