He looks like a mix of Doc Brown and Carrot Top.

I'm not always a fan of his (Will Farrell collaborative) films, but I like John C. Reilly quite a bit. Apart from the obvious comedic stuff, he's had some memorable parts in movies like Gangs of New York and State of Grace.

I love this movie. When I watch it I get such a Serenity feel. Serenity is my favorite movie so it's no wonder I've gravitated toward GotG. There is a lot more to it than that of course. Lovable characters, great writing, character development was fantastic for Drax, even in a short period of time. Just all together fantastic. High on my list of favorites.

I got a bit of that, too. I imagine Part 2 will have even more of that once the characters have been cooped up on the boat for a while.

Got my Art of GotG book yesterday, another awesome addition to my Art of collection :rock Some of the cooler tidbits are a couple wall carvings showing the 4 cosmic beings - Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Entropy (guess these are the ones they're going with in the MCU?). And the Nova Corpsman concept art also has styles that could basically be MCU Nova concepts. Also a full body shot of Thanos, looking like a boss. My only beef is they didn't include very many reference shots of the props in the movie, but Marvel did post a bunch of them online recently.

I always considered him a good guy, just morally indifferent when it comes to his own wants....
I wont consider him a good guy...he's more like the swiss bank...doesnt take any sides except for his own collecting(which is not always a good thing for some)

I think the Collector is definitely a "bad guy" in the sense that he imprisons sentient creatures indefinitely as a hobby. The only reason the other "good guys" don't treat him more seriously is because his doing so to maybe a few hundred creatures is lightweight compared to the ambitions of other "bad guys" in the Marvel U. And also because, I guess, he's seen to serve an important purpose in some instances, like in the Dark World post-credits scene.
