Finally saw the movie last night... one of my favorite movies this year.

Rocket stole the show for me, Groot, Star Lord and Gamora were great too. Drax was my least favorite of the five but he was still bad ass.

Saw this twice now and I enjoyed it even more the second time. Also bought the soundtracks. I love how the music is incorporated into the film. I agree with Riddick, this film is absolutely better than the Avengers. Having said that, there wasn't a scene to me or a sequence that was AS great as the Hulk bits in TA. But as an overall film, it is Marvel's best imo. It's definitely the most fun. I did not dislike anybody, I loved Rocket, Star-Lord and Groot very much. Even the guy who played the Nova officer who was thanking them at the end ("I have a family") is a guy who I can't stand in most movies but I enjoyed him in this one. Merle from Walking Dead stole the show as well. Loved him.

Loving looking through the Art book. So cool that Chris Foss actually did some design work on the film! You can certainly see he was an inspiration for some of the color and look of it. Also, it was very cool to see that at some point (spoiled in case someone wants a surprise while reading the book) that

Eternity himself was going to wield the infinity stone instead of a Celestial. That's pretty cool.

The soundtrack is also officially the #1 album in America. So cool!
