I've been excited about this, I just hope they don't try to wind it up too tightly with everyhting else. I'd actually like to see this set off on its own for the most part.

I'd never heard of these characters until the movie was announced but I'm already more interested in it than anything Avengers related.

I'd only read the characters in late 70's/early 80s stuff, plus some of my friends and I used to play the old Marvel roleplaying game and Drax was used in one of the game modules. Pretty cool characters and I'm stoked to see them together as a team even though I haven't read any of their modern stuff.

I just assumed this series was invented in the 2000's or something.
No one touches comic books where I live. Hell, I didn't even know who Captain America and Ironman were before the movies.

The only thing that worries me about this film so far is that Batista wrestler guy playing Drax instead of their initial choice, Jason Momoa. He would have been awesome.
