I can't wait to see this movie. I would love to see 80's horror make a come back as well as 80's style action movies. Imagine if this movie is really good and then the next Friday the 13th is as well we could have a bit of a resurgence for us old timers.

I'm a big fan f 80's and 90's action movies, but I think the John Wick movies are an updated version of those old movies, but with better visuals, stunts, and fighting choreography. I'd like to see more of that.

I agree about the expendables and John Wick. I love them and I still go back and watch the 80's movies a lot. Predator and Robocop are some of my favorites and the sequels aren't nearly as good but every movie is someone's first to watch and they will always judge them accordingly. Freddy is Englund just like Indiana Jones is Ford. I can't imagine anyone else filling their Fedoras.

Part of what defined 80s action was ridiculous humor, over the top action and over the top heroes. Keanu Reeves may be a badass as Wick but it won't feel like 80s, watch Point Break if you want 80s Keanu action, great movie too.

I would love to see F13th get one more crack at redemption and hopefully this movie does the same and Hereditary already became the best demon possession movie since the Exorcist.

Didn't Amy Schumer get possessed in that I Feel Pretty film? She falls over and Pigmon, one of the eight kings of McDonalds, possesses her and she feels slim. :chase

:lol

I'm feeling nothing but good vibes about this, every new image and trailer just makes me feel more excited, and I'm loving all the subtle nods to the previous films, even ones that aren't canon to this story.

Shame they cheaped out with filming this digital with that soap opera good morning america quality instead of 35mm.

What makes H1 so special is the richness that exists within that widescreen 35mm image.

35mm was so rich it made H1 look like the fall season even though the movie wasn’t shot in the fall that’s the gift 35mm gave H1.

Imagine this trailer with that 35mm richness.

Not a movie to cheap out on.

I mean Halloween Resurrection was filmed with 35mm but not the reboot that Carpenter is involved with that’s just absolutely absurd.

I’ll be there opening night first show but right out the gate it’s given no respect to match the beautiful cinematography from 1978.

Oh well it’s screening tonight in Toronto if i’m not mistaken.

Jesus, jye sounds like a damn autuer going on about 35mm. I knew Snikt would be reborn somehow. :rotfl

When it comes to H78 you have to be, there is no other way to be.

Carpenter/Cundey created magic 40 YEARS AGO with 35mm on a $300,000 budget!

Yes it’s super expensive but Halloween Resurrection gets 35mm BUT NOT A CARPENTER APPROVED SEQUEL!

How did Carpenter even agree to that critical component!

Who knows if they even discussed it with Carpenter, we don't know the extent of his involvement.

I just can't wait to hear the new score, very excited that he's behind it again. While the Halloween theme is consistent, the original Halloween '78 rendition is still my favorite, followed by Halloween II with the organ addition, and then Resurrection which went back to a classic piano sound. I think my least favorite score is H20, the Halloween music belongs on piano, not orchestral.

As much as I truly admire Carpenter and his work, the guy burned out awhile back. He's in this for the money. I don't blame him.

Brazilian trailer is completely different, night and day difference even. I don't think it's major spoilery but watch at your own risk I guess.
