The Cop blasted at Silar and he just rediredted the bulletts back at him!

The Peter ending was ok and the Nathan flying him up there. Yes I beilev the strain to try to handle the power was too much for him to do anything else.

Silar get stabbed by a charging Hiro from 80 feet away was the stupidest thing I've seen all season!! Indo could have done that! BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Silar lives...good I like him.

The rest was ok...

I just wish this show would have more of a fight. They don't show any Fighting!!!

My thought is Hiro will somehow go back and Peter and Nathan will survive. I don't think Hiro is enough to counter balance Silar and the New Bad Guy. No othe Hero is strong enough.

anyway... it was a let down to me.:monkey2

I like that they call each episode chapters and seasons volumes. It makes it feel like a TPB comic book or something. Well at least in the early Ultimate TPB's they referred to the issues as chapters, I know alot of others don't. And I love that they're doing the on-line comic book over the summer too, I'm going to have to keep up with that.

As for Kensei being Hiro's father, I thought it looked like him under the mask (sorry don't know the correct terminology), but it also made me wonder if the current cast is going to play people in the past if they aren't going to focus on the present. I can't wait to see how they are going to do next season.

I also liked the little mysteries they left us with. What's up with the tattoo on Niki (I was so happy to see my theory was right about Niki/Jessica) and what's up with her family being Linderman's science experiment? Where and how does Peter's ex-patient (Charlie? Charles?) fit in with Linderman and Mama Petrelli? And how does Hiro's dad fit in with the organization?

Too bad the DVD is such a long wait.

I have to believe that Sylar is dead and his body was dragged in to the sewer by the more-evil-dude. Seriously, why else would a ****roach just be randomly placed on the sewer lid?

And yeah, the Hiro running from 80 feet at Sylar and stabbing him made nooo sense. Why was Sylar so distracted that he could be killed so easily?

Oh, and there is no way that the Petrelli's are dead. Maybe Nathan, but definately not Peter. He is too important to the good guys.

I do understand why the fighting was so lax though. They need to keep the slow build of the characters from weiner to badass to make sure that more volumes are made.

Sylar's death was disappointing but otherwise a good "end". Next volume should kick!!!

The only explaination I can think of ,is that at some point, not on camera (to be reveled later), Would be that Sylar killed that Chick and took her power when he was in the building. (the one whom Niki knocked out) and somehow made Peter and himself apear like the other to everyone else. (at some point in the battle or lack there of ;)

Then all that would still hold the Future somwhat true.

Sylar and Peter are definitely still alive, maybe Nathan too. We know that future Peter exploded and pulled himself back together, so we know it can be done.

I liked the ending and didn't really have a problem with how Hiro killed Sylar, but I did have a problem with Peter's power going off for no reason. It would have been so much better if it was something Sylar did that set off the nuclear power in Peter.

But definitely looking forward to the next volume and seeing more of Samurai Sulu (I think it's obvious that was George done up as Kensei).

My theory is that the nuclear power is activated by adrenaline, so I figured that Peter getting mad and fighting Sylar activated it. And I got the impression (but can't remember what happened specifically, I knew I shoulda taped it :lol) that Sylar knew that and did something to piss Peter off. Maybe when he called Peter the villain and himself the hero, but I can't recall for sure. But, yeah, if they had done it differently or made it more apparent that Sylar had a more active role in Peter going kablewie it woulda been really awesome.

Also I was thinking, Peter's body itself might not explode so much as his body releases the energy without it doing any damage to him.

I thought it was a lackluster finale. It just sorta played out the way it was supposed to, no surprises.

Peter is really starting to get on my nerves. He has this wealth of powers and yet whenever he meets Sylar, he seems to forget how to use them. And why exactly did Hiro need all that training just so he could teleport in and run screaming at Sylar from a mile away? That took a lot of skill.

All of that build up, and I was just left with a feeling of, "Huh, so that's it?"

I have a feeling that Sylar was a test for Hiro and bigger things will happen in Volume II that required all the training. Also anger does seem to trip the powers as witnessed by Ted using his powers during the interrogation with Parkman. Im just amazed no one is talking about the fact we now have a complete picture of Bennet. His first name was the final key and we got it.

The training was to give him the heart and courage of a warrior instead of being a geeky kid with a sword and super powers. Prior to the training he had the sword at Sylar's neck and even with the knowledge that Sylar would blow up the city and kill Ando he was unable to kill Sylar. It took the training to give him that ability.

Plus like Memnoch said, he's going to need that training given that he just teleported himself to ancient Japan in the middle of a battlefield. And who knows what's come after that considering there is someone even worse than Sylar lurking out there.

In the words of Giles from Buffy: I've got a theory!

So what if the stories Hiro was told as a child by his father were inspired by someone his father knew in feudal Japan..namely Hiro himself. Now I know it may not make sense but this is a comic book show and pretty much anything goes. Perhaps the "original" Kensai (is that right?) dies and Hiro takes his place. ... Im trademarking that idea right now.

Yea, I liked that as well. He's going to bring all the heroes together. how biblical of the writers. :lol :lol It's obvious that peter is still alive, but my question is why didn't peter fly up himself? can he not use two powers at the same time? the it's also obvious that captain zulu is somehow immortal (or can go back and forth in time like hiro can). but then how did he cause the eclipse? since we though sylar was the big bad, maybe hiro's dad is one of the big goods.

the only problem i had, like people said before is that hiro "killed" sylar too easily. people thought that isaac's comic showed how sylar was going to die, but it only showed how he was going to get stabbed. it would have been much better if he appeared right behind him and when sylar turned around, hiro simply stabbed him. but I'm glad sylar isn't dead. evil clark kent is my favorite character on the show. if only they could have killed off niki..............................

Interesting theory Memnoch--I like it.

What makes you say he caused the eclipse Conger?

I think the eclipse ties more into the fact that its a new volume and such and for dramatic effect. The pilot had the eclipse, and now Hiro shows up in the past and it's another eclipse. Sort of a call to destiny.

And yea about my theory, it makes sense when ya think about it AND doesn't bring messy time-space continuum issues in either. Wouldn't you want to tell your son what kind of person you KNOW he would be from the moment he is born?

I think Peter was too overcome by Ted's powers to be able to fly. But I wonder why someone couldn't just knock him out to make him stop. It worked earlier when he blacked-out. I guess it wouldn't have been as dramatic.

And what was the deal with Peter's flashback? I take it we'll see more of Charles Deveaux in Generations.

I could be wrong here, but I think your theory does create a time paradox. Hiro relies on the stories of himself to give him the desire to become a hero. Also the stories inspire him to believe the sword is necessary to use his power, which in turn causes him to train with the sword. This gives him the skills needed when he goes back in time to become a great samurai. And now I forgot where I was going with that and confused myself... :duh

Not if my theory pans out, in timeline A there was a real Kensai who inspired the stories. Time line goes on, no Hiro interferance. Hiro hears the stories. NOW Hiro fights Sylar and ends up going back in time to feudal Japan. Gets involved with "the samurai" and meets Kensai. Something happens where maybe Kensai will sacrifice himself to save Hiro, Hiro takes Kensai's place. History records a Kensai but it was really Hiro.
