4400 came before Heroes. I think the mythology of Heroes is much more interesting than that of the 4400, although that could be because 4400 has been completely explained and Heroes has not. And X-Men beat them both...

Well there goes the idea that Hiro's Dad is Kensei, or gonna play Kinsei. Still leaves open the theory that Kensei dies and Hiro takes his place. And yeah, it does seem strange that its not a japanese actor.

Well, Alias fans can rejoice because SARK from Alias is going to play Hiro's idol (forgot his name, the japanese sword guy). Which I find weird, because he's a white guy.....we shall see.

It's very weird n strange to me too on this decision. Have to wait and see like you said to understand why they picked a caucasian to play a japanese. Fair he is but it's so easy to tell he's no asian. Perhaps there really is more than meets the eye on this Kensei character.

Besides a cool new commercial shown on the NFL preseason game last night here is some more good news for this show...yet another hottie joins the show!

Kristen Bell joins Heroes
The star of the canceled cult fave Veronica Mars will costar on NBC's superhero hit starting this October, playing Elle, a mysterious woman who has ties to Peter, H.R.G., and Claire. The casting is considered a big win for Heroes and its network, considering Bell had been pursued by other shows (including, reportedly, ABC's Lost). The actress also has a couple film projects in the works, including the title role in the Judd Apatow-produced Forgetting Sarah Marshall. (Variety)
