So he works at Kinko's but can afford a huge house in Costa Verde, CA and a 2007 Rogue for his teenage daughter? Guess he had some offshore accounts set up.

At least the product placement isn't as bad as Smallville where Lois used her new car to distract a security guard - telling him about all it's fine features. This was a point where Lois was living in the Kent's spare room and was unemployed. I wanna be a TV character!

Yeah his job didn't quite match-up with his lifestyle. I would imagine he had money stashed away from his years of doing dirty work. But maybe is keeping the job as a cover?!? At least thats what I told myself to make it okay :monkey2

I just figured he had money stashed away from his previous job. And when I was 16 I woulda been ecstatic over my parents just giving me a car, especially a new one. :lol

While I enjoyed the Journeyman pilot, I was reminded of this rampant product placement in TV as well Dave. Hmm ... so, the Iphone is crucial to solving time travel mysteries ... I see. Wonder how many cast members got free Iphones for that huge plug ... :D

I really enjoyed the first episode, but I want to see what led up to everyone being in their particular situation. Like, what's up with Nathan going all 'Jack Shepherd in the future' :D, where's Parkman's wife, what exactly are Mohinder and Noah Bennett up to and who put Peter in that shipping crate. The last part I believe has something to do with what Hiro's dad said about "The 9 remaining". I'm sure they'll go back and address all that stuff later in the season. Anyway good episode, can't wait for more! :rock

I'm also hoping we get to find out what the old-school characters powers are. I don't remember them being metioned, except that the dying old man (can't remember his name) could influence others through dreams.

You mean Simone's dad, Devereaux or something wasn't it? And Linderman had the healing power. I can't wait to find out their back story. I predict we will have an episode set way in the past with the prior generation, and an episode set somewhere in the couple previous months to show a little bit about the intervening time.

Is Niki and her family going to be back this season?

Can't wait to see the Elders back stories.

Nikki was shown in the preview for next weeks episode, so I am assuming that they'll be back (minus DL?).

2.2 "LIZARDS" - Oct. 1
AS MATT INVESIGATES THE DEATH OF ONE HERO, ANOTHER IS ATTACKED BY THIS NEW SINISTER FORCE STALKING THOSE WITH ABILITIES -- THE HAITIAN RETURNS -- DIRECTED BY EXECUTIVE PRODUCER ALLAN ARKUSH -- With one person dead, Matt (Greg Grunberg) enlists some unlikely help as the attacks continue on people with abilities. Claire's (Hayden Panettiere) efforts to hide her healing abilities at her new California high school are jeopardized by a fellow student with a secret of his own. As part of his new job, Dr. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) must track down The Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis). While crossing into Mexico, Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro's (Shalim Ortiz) abilities prove to be a threat to those around them. Meanwhile, disappointed by his hero Kensei (David Anders), Hiro (Masi Oka) resolves to rectify any damage his presence in feudal Japan has done to history. And another lost Hero falls in with a gang of Irish gangsters with clues to his past. Jack Coleman, Dana Davis, James Kyson Lee, Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia also star. Nick D'Agosto, Katie Carr, Ashley Crow, Cristine Rose, Barry Shabaka Henley, Dominic Keating, Holt McCallany, Eriko Tamura, Adair Tishler and Stephen Tobolowsky guest star.

Finished the episode, liked it more than the opener. A solid episode and seems to be setting up a lot of interesting story lines. Although I'm not sure Peter has to take those guy up on the offer... seems like he could get what he needs on his own.

(intentionally vague there in case anyone hasn't seen it yet :lol)

Yeah, this one was better than last weeks. I just hope they cool it with the "Claire's gory injury of the week" stuff. She's Wolverine, we got it already. Save it for something useful.

Good episode! I'm glad the Haitian is back.

Any thoughts on Kensei's healing power? And did he actually die and come back to life?

I think you're right, GB. How hard would it have been for Peter to get the box away from the Irish guy? You think they'd be a little more scared of him after what he did.

Goddamn dog's gonna eat the cheerleader's toe.

Somebody's got to.

I didn't really buy that a pair of regular scissors can cut through bone or that Peter couldn't just take the box even in his weakened amnesiac condition. It was a good ep. but I didn't like it as much as the premiere - not as much happened, no deaths, no bad guys, but it was nice to see the Hatian again - I wonder how he'll help HRG and when he'll bite it. Somehow I doubt that The Company is oblivious to what HRG and Mohinder are up to.

I wonder how the twins Maya and Alejandro will fit into the overall storyline? Another threat to an entire city like the exploding man last season? It'd be cool if Hiro knocks up the princess before he returns to the present thus establishing a new blood line. And West just can't stop peeping in Claire's window. You'd think if you were being hunted or were going to use your secret power or whatever that you'd at least close the drapes  Next week looks interesting as Sylar (yay) and Nikki (yawn) return.

Even though Kring said it was only for the comic book, I really hope we get to see Uluru:
