Hahaha! Yeah, well it could very well turn out to be wrong but here goes...

I think the new "main" bad guy will turn out to be the same British guy posing as Kensei in 17th Century Japan. Why do I say this? Well, mostly it's just a strong hunch but there have been some hints. Most notably in the latest episode after he is shown healing, Hiro says "Godsend". It then cuts to a scene with Molly with the first shot being of one of her drawings of the villain's eyes with the Godsend symbol.

Also note, while he appears to be a jovial chap he hasn't really expressed any heroic aspects whatsoever. On the contrary, he's quite obviously vain and self-centered, which is the starting point for many classic villains.

My hunch is that he not only has these healing powers (like Claire) but also does not really age and is still around in the present day of the story. Perhaps he was the first person to have Special Abilities and established The Company but was ultimately betrayed by the rest (including the Petrellis, Linderman, Nakomura, etc) when they discovered his true nature.

Again, it's just a hunch and I could be way off. But I've read so many comic books, graphic novels and basic mythology that this revelation would not surprise me in the least.

Also, I don't think he's really the historical Kensei from the show's mythology, either.... that is obviously going to turn out to be HIRO himself.

I initially thought the same thing about the baddie being Kensei after the first episode but hope that is just a bunch of red herring clues because it would be way too obvious with the clues they have already thrown out.

Also, the Hiro being Kensei theory has been floating around since last season and is already playing out to be true.

A few quick pictures to get some blood flowing...:lol

Two days and no one has any comments on two hot blondes getting all friendly??

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Take out the cheerleader and just leave Kristen Bell. I love her. :monkey5:monkey5

Anyway, I agree with this assumption of this season so far.

My ardor for “Heroes” continues to wane!

It is spinning its wheels and needs to find traction fast!

PETER. Beaten by Irishmen who want iPods. Sponge-bathed by Caitlin. Discovers he can heal. Discovers he can phase. Saves Caitlin from gangster’s son. Won’t get his driver’s license back unless he helps with a robbery. Why not just zap the guy until he gives you what you want?

CLAIRE. Loses her new Nissan (so peeping flying-boy can retrieve it?). She is also much more shocked than the viewers when her toe grows back.

NOAH. Has one of eight Isaac paintings and will search for the missing seven. Why is he working that stupid CopyKingdom job? Does he need that big CopyKingdom salary so he can give Claire the flashy Nissan? Is threatening his CopyKingdom boss the best possible way to lay low?

MATT. Investigates Nakamura’s murder. Brings in Angela Petrelli for questioning.

ANGELA. “We did something terrible and now someone wants revenge,” thinks Mama Petrelli just before something scratches her bloody inside an interrogation room. We kinda figured that out last week.

NATHAN. Still has a giant beard.

HIRO. Impersonates Kensei and saves the princess. Learns Kensei can do the cheerleader’s trick. Hiro couldn’t save his girlfriend/waitress but now he can alter and re-alter history? Since your powers are obviously firing on all cylinders, shouldn’t he maybe get back to the future in case the forces of good need help with Sylar?

MOHINDER. Cures the virus-stricken Haitian. He and Noah and the Haitian are all working together now. Quite the meh reveal!

MAYA & ALEJANDRO. Maya can cry deadly black tears; her brother can make them evaporate. “We are going to America to find a real doctor.” You and your brother and your superpower are boring.

Remember how great the episode-ending cliffhangers were last season?

Info on tonight's Ep. White text so highlight to read.

2.3 "KINDRED" - Oct. 8
BOTH IN PAST AND PRESENT, SEVERAL HEROES MAKE SHOCKING DISCOVERIES -- NIKI AND MICAH RETURN -- Upon his return to New York, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is unnerved to find an undiscovered Issac Mendez painting that foretells death of someone close to him. Both Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) pursue their own secret personal agendas. Determined to make it to the U.S., Maya (Dania Ramirez) uses her deadly abilities to free Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) from a Mexican jail. Ando (James Kyson Lee) returns to his job in Japan and makes a happy discovery. Meanwhile, in Japan's past, just when Hiro (Masi Oka) had written off Kensei (David Anders), his childhood hero surprises him. Niki (Ali Larter) and Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) leave Las Vegas in an attempt to start over. Later, Niki and a lost Hero individually strike shady bargains to reach their goals. Two familiar people with abilities make an unexpected return. Dana Davis, Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia also star. Nick D'Agosto, Katie Carr, Ashley Crow, Cristine Rose, Barry Shabaka Henley, Dominic Keating, Holt McCallany, Eriko Tamura, Adair Tishler and Stephen Tobolowsky guest star.

By far the best episode of this season tonight. Won't say much for the west coasters but that painting was a nice little twist. :monkey3

SPOILERS

Poor Candace - they recast her and then kill her. Talk about cruel. And wasn't DL doing okay at the season finale? Lots of gratuitous deaths.

Anyone notice that the car Maya, bro and gringo escaped in was Hayden's Rogue?

I was very upset about the 'new' Candace. I LOVED the other chick. She was so f'n hot!!!! :monkey5

I noticed it was a Nissan, but it didn't register that it was Claire's. Nice catch.

Yeah that sucks, she was real cute too. Oh well at Sylar is stranded deep in a remote jungle in God knows where.

I caught the sticker on the back of the car and realized it was Claire's ride. :D

It was a great episode; Hiro communicating with Ando thru messages in the sword was cool, Claire's 'Superman' moment with the 'Stalker kid' was too. I really want to know who this 'Boogeyman' is!!

Arg, my patience with this show is wanning right now. First season was great, but this season has not been for me.

I could have sworn that there was a sequence in Superman 1,2,3,4, AND returns were he flies with lois and we have seen that before. Don't need some idiot kid doing the same :monkey1:monkey1:monkey1:monkey1 And Peter.....how about you "tell me who I am or I'll blast you through a wall" I REALLY hate the cliche of the person with no memory saying: "what if I don't like who I was?" ARG !!!! He should WANT to know who he was and try everything to know it....but I digress. And they constantly think that people like Nikki and want to know more about her, but I just change the channel whenever she's on.

At least Sylar is back to his badass self. I was wondering when he was going to kill poor Candace, who was acting very casual around a mass murderer, which was weird. Bet the company wanted him to kill her. Hiro's storyline is great too, with Sark and him and japan, good stuff. I also though the 8/8 picture was great too, but Claire should know that her father did some not-so-good things before he told her what she does. The way the writers make her character's thought process is just completly astounding to me, it's as if they don't want her to think at all. But I do really want to know who the Boogeyman is...and I want to see the return of The Doctor, or the invisible man, he was great.

Okay, rant over.

DL was in the background when Ali Larter was talking on the phone to the company. He ain't dead yet.

I didn't see that - so the grave is just a diversion? And I like Nichelle Nichols as an addition to the cast - of course she's one of the remaining older "heroes." Perhaps they'll get Walter Koenig to come in and play another one.

I'm with you. I loved the first season right up until that dud of a finale, and the show has yet to really hook me back in. The Kensei storyline has been a total bore so far, and I'm just plain getting tired of Claire now. This show is turning out to be a big cocktease.

Maybe Sylar will pump some life back into it, I don't know.

Am I watching the same show? I havent been that dissapointed at all. Maybe you guys don't like that its not an absolute continuation from last season but is slowly setting up new plot lines and characters? I dunno, but so far Im having a blast.

Most of the greenscreen last night looked like it was done in the 90s.:monkey4 I guess that'll happen when you try to cram so much into a single week's budget but still...

So 2 more Star Trek actors on the show last. I foresee this show being like Batman in the 60s for sci-fi actors wanting to guest star on it.

I'm with you Memnoch, I'm loving it still. Peeping Tom is pretty annoying, I hope the Company turns him in to a bad guy or something...he's already got the stalking part down. The Maya and her brother annoy me for some reason. Cool power though.

And in the picture with Claire's dad dead, was Claire kissing the shadow or was the shadow trying to get her to look away. I think I blinked or something when they showed the glimpse of that part because I barely saw it.

I'm liking the show too - especially Sylar. Hiro is a bit frustrating for not realizing that HE's supposed to be Kensei. But now I'm not so sure and perhaps Kensei and Hiro together will be responsible for the legend rather than just one or the other.

I like Claire's new boyfriend, the Lois & Clark thing worked well I thought.

Overall I don't have anything to complain about - can't wait for Kristen Bell to make an appearance though.
