Doesn't Kensei cut his heart out or something and live anyways? I'm thinking that has to be the real Kensei and not Hiro, and I think that's why Claire cut her toe off as a bit of foreshadowing and to demonstrate lost appendages (and organs) can be regrown... Although Hiro hanging around for the swordsmith's daughter really makes it seem like he's going to be Kensei so...

I think we are leading up to an inevitable future. I think at some point New York will end up being destroyed anyway with Sylar as president because really.. why else bring back Candice only to kill her off so early?

DL was in the background when Ali Larter was talking on the phone to the company. He ain't dead yet.

It was out of focus since the guy was in the background of the shot but I don't think it was DL, Nikki was in the company guy's office and the guy looked more like an orderly from a hospital or a guard than DL.

I am very tired of Maya and her brother as well, seems like they were ripped off of the X-Files with the Black Oil. They need to do something interesting with them very soon.

I was ready to throw in the towel on this show last night...until the preview for next week showed the possibility that it might start kicking into a higher gear.

Some random thoughts...I don't think "Candace" is dead...Sylar didn't have the powers, her head was still in one piece and the isloated location made no sense...more like one of her visions maybe.

They gotta get the brother/sister thing moving forward quickly...get'em in the US already!

Loved Nichelle...she still looks radiant.

I still hate Super Flying Stalker...he's creepy, but maybe that's all on purpose. I can see that storyline getting better though...he becomes Clair's new boytoy, Noah finally meets him and realizes the company's on to them, they gotta leave and Clair's forced to choose between family and flyboy...who of course really DOESN'T love her...he's just workin' for the company...just a thought.

I still think Brit-Kensei turns out to be Linderman somehow...

Get Peter out of the Irish Spring commercial already... for a character with such potential last year, he's just wasted in this Bourne-ripoff nonsense...

Hey wait a minute...maybe I am still liking this show  Oh well...I'd still like to see it kick up a notch...here's hoping next week starts that...

I just can't understand why the makers think we want to see claire in every boring-plotted episode that involves her character. I liked her last year because she had a point in the show "Save her", but now, it's just pointless. I find myself wanting to follow her dad more than her. just show us that creepy flying guy works for the company and get it over with. Parkman's daddy being the boogeyman is a neat twist. hope they go with that. But the best thing about next week, KRISTIN BELL !!!!!

Here's a pic of the founders:

I was surprised that they went ahead and showed the entire picture of the whole group of founders. I was kind of hoping that they would leave room for some cool surprise guest stars in the future, but it looks like the group consists of the people we already know from last season, plus some additional folks from the extras casting department. A little bit of a bummer there, in terms of what they could have done later in this season and on.

It annoys me when they intercut a series of scenes set at one time of day with another time of day unless there's a storytelling point to the intercutting. Like I hated when they cut away from cheerleader girl at night (after her date with the kid who can fly) to go to Mexico during the day (with Sylar) only to come back after the commerical break to pick up with the cheerleader girl moments later coming home -- still at night.

Really like Uhura's family.

I guess I'm upset about for show for making me wait for the great episode which I know they can do. Why do we have to start again with the Heroes in isolation, slowly discovering each other again, coincidental meetings on the road AGAIN. Half of everybody should already know everybody anyway. Just because the formula works last season, they shouldn't start ALL over again. I just almost feel, that last season didn't exist and we are starting a whole new show, which shouldn't happen....rant over.

Did anybody know that Petrilli Father is the only person turned away in the photo? I wonder why that is? I have a feeling that Kensei maybe the Petrilli father, just a guess, that way he could have passed the regeneration gene onto claire; but it's probably wrong. But there has to be a reason for it.

I don't think Mr. Petrelli is Kensei...it makes sense in theory though. But if you read the online comic, there was a chapter that focused on Linderman and Petrelli back in day. It doesn't mesh with Kensei as Petrelli. Also, I'm glad this episode didn't have any of Hiro and Kensei's storyline...it's starting to bore me. Hiro needs to get his ass back to the present.

I think the reason why they're using the season 1 formula of having all the Heroes start in isolation is to keep the show from turning into a "superhero team"...which would detract somewhat from what they're trying to do in keeping the show as rooted in realism as a show can be when it focuses on super-powered individuals. It can get a little monotonous though and they can't do this again for season 3...it's gonna get played out.

Last night was a great episode. I like the new addition of Monica. As soon as robber man entered the restaurant, I was like "Oh boy, u don't wanna mess with this chick right now, dude...she just got done watching some WWE and she about to whoop that ass." U could see it coming from a mile away, but it was still a great scene.

I was also surprised by "The 12" reveal. Only 11 were in the picture...number 12 is probably the one taking the picture, and I'm guessing number 12 will be Kensei...a.k.a. Kane. Everyone in the picture is known except for the women (besides Mama Petrelli) and the man below Bob. Some people are saying the Black woman looks like DL's mom from season 1. It'll be interesting to find out who the mysteries of the 12 are.

Can't wait until next week and Kristen Elle. I think she's great and I hope the Heroes writers utilize her to her full potential. Up to this point, Peter's storyline in Ireland has been boring me...Elle's intro should change that.

Also love the Wonder Twins, Dania (Maya) especially, but how dumb can u be? Not only should they have ran when they saw Sylar lying in the middle of the road, they should have ran him over...backed up over him...and ran him over again. I don't care if you're desperate...Sylar's stench of shady is undeniable.

Have to say I was pretty disappointed with last nights episode... I hate the new kids in New Orleans (although gotta love the Uhuru!!!). The bully is a weak caricature at best and the girl trying to be a manager at a burger joint is really uninteresting. I felt like she was in one of those old McDonalds commercials where young people would talk about all the great opportunities flipping burgers could have for them... groan.

And, just overall, the interactions and stories last night seemed more contrived than usual. Hope this is just a lull before ass-kicking begings again.

100% agree with you on that. If you're going to introduce new "heroes", make sure they aren't really stupid/lame/cliche; and how about more information on the "heroes" that we already know and actually care about. not these new retards that we don't care about.

Yeah, a whole episode withouth Peter or Hiro is a painful one. I don't think the whole episode was bad, but I found myself rolling my eyes much more than I liked :lol

Yep, I wanted more of Hiro and Peter too. I think Monica might be interesting, at least it's a new power. Didn't mind the flying kid so much either. But Kristen should ramp it up a bit.

Argh, I love this show but geeeeeee whiz is it off to a slow start. The Mexican twins are boring the snot out of me, as is the whole Matt/Mohinder/whatshername arc. Same goes for tight-lipped Mrs. Petrelli. In fact, the only arcs that remotely interest me weren't even present in last night's episode (Peter & Hiro).

The new fly-boy is too borderline annoying/stalker for me to actually like him. And the new hero-girl from New Orleans is not floating my boat either. WOW, another hero with the great power of LEARNING! Didn't we already get that with Hiro's blonde diner girlfriend? Oh well, at least they didn't make this new girl a waitress too...... Doh!

Peter is the best thing they have going for the show in my opinion. They could start centering the entire show on just him for all I care and drop half of the other sticks in the mud.

I also wish they'd bring back Chris Eccleston's (sp?) character. Invisibility might be cliche' for a 'power', but I found him much more compelling than some of the grasping-at-straws characters like "Manipulates the Internet Girl", "Idiot Savant Burger Flipper" and "People Die when I Cry" twins.

In Monica's defense, her power is geared towards photographic muscle memory. Charlie, Hiro's girlfriend was last season, just seemed to have photographic memory. She could learn languages and whatnot in no time. One is more action-based, the other is more learning-based.

Oh I know, I'm just being cynical to make a point. :) It just seems silly to me that in a show with so much endless potential, they seem to have a hard time coming up with compelling new characters. Just my opinion of course.

I agree with you Andy, the new characters don't have as cool of a feel to them. I'm still optimistic about the season, but just getting bored/annoyed by some of the story and character decisions.
