If he was just irrelevant he'd be more tolerable. The problem is he's irrelevant, completely one-dimensional ("My research..." this and "My father's research..." that) and insufferably sanctimonious now (that he even shot H.R.G. at all should have been his Death Warrant, resurrection by Claire's blood or not). Since about 1/3 the way through Volume 2 I have wanted Mohinder to suffer a most painful demise. And now he's paired with Maya... the two biggest, most annoying ciphers on the show together like peas in a pod. Please, someone destroy them.

:lecture:lecture:lecture:lecture Truer words have never been spoken.

It was Hiro that said, "You betrayed me." Damn!!!

Ando Ryu'd the ^^^^ out of Hiro! That was even better a second time! He has Elle's lightning, but it's red.

That was awesome, seems Ando had some training from this guy in the ways of force lightning

And another thing, where is Present-Peter's body???

Yes! Thank you! That was one thing about last nights episode last night. I'm thinking that there's some kind of power used to merge present Peter with a host body (ie: the body and mind go into said host somehow). There could be a lifeless present Peter body I suppose but where would it be? Hmmmm.

Isn't it possible they swapped minds?
The mind of the guy who belongs to the body Peter's possessing should be left somewhere as well. They could either have two minds in one body with Peter as the dominant one, or have swapped bodies. Or do you think his mind has been deleted?

But a mind-swap would leave a lot of unsolved questions as well; why give a guy as dangerous as that a body with Peter's powers?
And where is that body? If it's kept safe somewhere out of harm and recognition by others, why not have left Peter in his own body?

Sounded like he was in him... so I just took it to be that there was no body w/o a mind. He was just somehow melded with the other guy.

We'll find out where present Peter's body is and he'll likely switch back into it, because both Peter's have a confrontation (remember the early set pics).

Probably, but per the final Peter scene the other night, didn't they actually show Milo with the villians even though Peter was in the other guy's body? It was confusing, but it looks like they may slide back and forth between using Milo and Francis Capra kinda like in Quantum Leap where you actually saw Scott Bacula....:confused: Very confusing.

I kinda find that whole thing a bit lame. I hope they prove me wrong, but it seems fairly obvious that that whole "you betrayed me" encounter was brought on by the fact that Hiro from the past witnessed the encounter. Obvious paradox.

In fact I really wish that time travel was never introduced into the heroes universe at all, and they built stories that played out beginning to end. Time travel is a tricky business to deal with, and usually leads to extremely convoluted story lines. For instance, if you can time travel and you mess something up...just RE-travel to that point and tell yourself "Hey me...if you do this it totally screws things up". You are aware of time travel, and know you can do it...so why not listen to your future self.

Also, why doesnt future Peter just time travel to Claires house and mop the floor with Sylar? What the Butterfly effect? Well invulnerable Syler sure seems like a Butterfly worthy of stepping on in the larval stage, and it seems obvious that future peter is infinately powerful at this point!

Yeah, Future Peter could have just traveled back to the point that Sylar would show up at Clarie's house, or even earlier to when Sylar was still weak without powers and kill him then. At least Hiro had the guts to try to kill off Sylar. Seems like everyone else is just screwing it up.

I get the feeling they're using Milo in those scenes in case we're too stupid to understand that it's Peter in that body. If so, that's pretty weak.

That's what my wife was saying, but I was arguing for a Feaky Friday mind swap. I can't comprehend just having his body vanish. How would he get it back?

And where did Future Peter get this ability to swap people's minds and bodies? It's kind of a cheat just to have Peter do whatever he feels like because you can lean on the argument that he must have absorbed some power that were didn't know about until now. Lazy writing.

It is future Peter though, and we haven't seen all of what happened up until that time so I didn't mind that. Reminded me of Quantum Leap when he saw his real face in the mirror. I really didn't like the total Fly rip off scene though.

I hope they explain it quickly--last season, Peter inexplicably had lightning powers, but they gave us the story on that in a later episode. I assume the same will happen here and they won't just keep giving Peter amazing powers without explanation.

And my wife is hung up on the fact that if Future Peter has healing powers, then he shouldn't have that scar. That's bugging her...

Not necessarily because remember they are using the old Quantum Leap trick where we see Peter but the audience is supposed to understand that it is Jesse really. The confrontation could be between "Jesse" and Future Peter.

Isn't it possible they swapped minds?

That is what I'm leaning with that he swapped out minds with Jesse but not really a full swap, that somewhere in a safe place is Peter's body but lifeless. Not sure how that is safer but the idea that is being given is that Future Peter isn't all that calculated, an act first and ask questions later kind of thing so he is screwing himself by not thinking it through.

And where did Future Peter get this ability to swap people's minds and bodies?

Mind swap is a Telepathic ability. He already had Telepath skills from his encounter with Matt. What he did with the body is the real question.

I always took it as it meant something. He received that scar specifically in a battle or some pivotal role so he chose not to heal it. It isn't an open wound so there was some healing involved but with enough control of his powers he could leave himself with whatever he wants.

Very much a cheat! Thats what I was saying. There is a Hero for every need! Ok in this scene we need peter to turn this water into wine....so the back story will be you went back and synched with Jesus, K? K.

AND, if he can switch peoples minds or whatever...why not just send Sylar to a non immortal body and BAM...zap him or something? Or maybe just like swap his mind into a bunny named Fluffy and feed him carrots daily.

Anyone remember how Sylar got back his telekenisis power?

I never even thought about that.

Oh and HulkSmashed, Syler has the same or similar capabilities so he could fend off an attack like that from Peter...in theory.

Last season, didn't Future Peter say that he got the scar from Hiro and wore it like a badge of honor??? I remember something like that.

He took Mohinder's injection (the one that was intended for Nikki's healing instead) and got better out in an alley in the final scene of season two. His powers returned and he used his telekinesis to snatch a can of spinach.

It sounds like this week's season premiere was down in the ratings 25% from last year, and in fact was matching some of the lowest ratings ever for the show. I hope the audience picks up, as it looks like this will be a better year for the show. They just might have lost a good chunk of the fans after the sophomore slump.

THANK YOU. I knew he did but I couldnt remember how!
