"What she gonna to do me?"
"Feed you"....

Gotta love evil Mama Petrelli. :lol

Two minutes into the show and I'm already smiling.

We should see if we could commission Andy to make some of these sculpts.

I liked the character of Isaac Mendez but I'm really digging the African Spiritual version much more. Although I'm interested to see where this leads Matt....to this point hes been fairly useless even as a character arc.

I really didn't like the whole Peter's whole consciousness mind and body was trapped in Jesse.... and there goes any old Sci-Fi ideas that the same matter can't occupy the same space since they touched each other.

I love Sylar doing the Vader choke.

Looks like Sylar had more of an effect on his niece then originally thought.

Sylar's about the only thing that's keeping me watching.

So, it looks like Claire is maybe going to become the Punisher? That could be interesting.

I love the copy of 9th Wonders near the Turtle in Africa. :lol

Tracy was created? Huh......

The visions can be medically induced? I guess the Heroin that Isaac was taking did a litltle more than just focus him huh?

I was surprised by the lack of Suresh. I thought for sure they wedge him in there at the end. I guess Parkman was holding down the superfluos B plot this week.

Good episode. So far so good this season. I really hope they can keep up the momentum.

So cheesy line of the night:

Claire: I've already walked through fire and didn't get burned.

LAME! Ugh.

I'm also reminded that this 'newish' Claire is very much reminding me of Buffy from season 6. If she starts dating a bad Vampire gone good....well....I just don't know what I'll do.

And 'Punisher' Claire is probably just a future possibility that will be null and void once the present/past is changed (as seems to the be the case on Heroes all the time). Now if only the future didn't involve total destruction in every season. :lol

Again though, good episode.

Yeah, but at least the Parkman African Adventure sub-plot with the guide/painter is moderately interesting. Suresh has nothing now. His only substantive contribution is that he's the show's obligatory Indian narrator.

That line wasn't put there as cheesy allegory. It was purposely re-used from the first pilot episode of the show in Season 1. Claire said the same exact line to her adopted mother when asked "Did you do anything interesting today?" and got a "That is so deep!" type response. They re-used the line to show the diametric differences between her relationship with her biological and birth mothers, because the response in this episode was the exact opposite. :lecture

I thought this was the best all-around episode in a long time.

Major bonus: no Suresh/Maya.

Amen to that. Whenever they're on, I either watch another channel or fast forward.

With regards to Claire, they seem to not really know what to do with her. They tried to make her character grow in the second season, but they seemed this season to really just start her at the same place as she was since the origin. One of the reasons why I really don't find her character interesting anymore, we've seen her cry and ^^^^^ that she can't be "normal" for two whole seasons.

Sorry, I found it to be a major cheese fest. :lecture Of course I've always found that sort of line cheesy so I'm biased. :D

I figured the trapped Peter storyline was going to last a little longer.

I hope they're going somewhere cool with Claire, but I have my doubts. Why would she think her trailer trash mom with a completely dissimilar power could teach her to fight?

And she takes the box of files - is she going public? Is Scar Pete going to have to kill the cheerleader to save the world?

I honestly thought they were going to have Peter trapped the entire season, I'm really glad they didn't, I wasn't really a fan of it to begin with.

I laughed too when Claire's mother was going to teach her how to "fight". How does someone who can light stuff on fire know how to "fight"??????

"Okay Claire, let's see, how to fight. Well, I usually light people on fire. Can you do that?" Seemed a little weak on that point.

Question: Why didn't Sylar just take off when he was out by Noah. He didn't seem the type of person to care about what his "mommy" (who he just met) wants him to be. Why not just a) kill noah and take off b) kill his "mommy" and noah, then take off c) just take off once they turned his sedation off.

I think it's like he said to Noah. He finds it interesting how this will all play out. Besides, imo Sylar knows he can get away whenever he wants...until the haitian returned :lol

I think Sylar is one of those bad guys who likes to play with his food before he eats it. So I figure it's like Nash says, he's just playing them because he thinks/knows he has the upper hand and can prevail at any time.

I think Claire took the files so she can track down some of the escaped prisoners and go after them herself. Also I think that starting Claire back at the beginning every season is supposed to be frustrating for us so we can see how it is for her. Twice now she's been involved in big superhero level events and once they are over she has to go back to being an ordinary teenager.

Not to mention they're taking him to try and capture bad guys with strong powers. It's like a buffet for him.

I have a feeling she took the files to find the Villains. As if she is going to do a trial by fire. I don't think she is going public as that didn't work the time before.

His hunger is too tempted not to see how it plays out.

I think its more than that. Remember Gabriel had a horrible relationship with his mother always looking for approval up until the point he killed her. The thought that Angela, someone more powerful and someone to look up to feed into that mommy complex. Not to mention his curiousity is high, he wouldn't kill Noah simply because the curiousness of someone being able to trap supers who isn't one is puzzling. He mentioned in the car with Noah being curious on how everything plays out. He is along for the ride to see where it leads and if he doesn't like it he'll leave....that is usually his MO.

That was probably the big bother about yesterday's episode... keeping her constantly angsty is getting old. Kind of the same issue with the Sarah Conner Chronicles or Anakin in AOTC... at some point you know any teenager will just suck it up and stop being a little ^^^^^ :lol

Still, great episode last night and Sylar is really going in a cool direction, jut hope the creepy homemaker scene in the preview is not a trainwreck.

After I saw baker Sylar I looked at my wife and said I hate where they're taking Sylar's character. So yeah, I hope they don't totally screw up what a great bad guy he is.
